Online Dating Amber Flags

Is someone asking what your looking for or asking if your looking for a long term relationship, an Amber flag?

It unsettles me when someone asks me that within 2 messages. Or more.

Indeed. But you still need dates either way. I could lie or they could lie about wanting a long or short relationship.

Yes anyone can lie about what they are looking for, best to be honest. I'm guessing for you it's- a relationship with the right person, which is fairly normal surely. I dont think you need to mention friends because if you meet a nice guy but dont want a sexual relationship with him, then naturally you can see whether you can remain friends or not. If it happens it happens.

:Or that they are already judging me."

Not wanting to burst your bubble, but of course they are judging you. That's what people do. Not just on dates, all the time. Just like you're judging them when you meet.
