Ordered some cupcakes for a party. 50 in total. The other flavours ok but these ones(around 20 of them) ... What do you think? Aibu = I think they look ok
Yanbu= i would be disappointed

Apart from all the obvious jokes about dog poo, they are very lazily decorated and that buttercream looks grainy, like it's split.

I don’t want to be a party pooper but they look grim for a professional bakery.

Ah ok. It's like there's not enough of the toppings and they're not very eye catching or evenly decorated.

Oh wow. Are they for real? I feel like I've stepped into an episode of the Apprentice where they've been tasked to supply cupcakes to a corporation client. They look awful.

A corporate event? No, you were right to ask for a refund. I wouldn’t serve them at a corporate event. They are unreasonable to not refund you, I guess you could leave them a review, with pics?

They are poor quality, if they won’t refund I’d be leaving an accurate review and taking my business elsewhere

They rang and said that they were quite offended that i could say such a thing and they were very pleased with them and would not be refunding for them. For the record we usually do about (on average), about £150 a month with them.

emoji! BUT pictures often don’t look as good as the real deal. I mean… just flatten the icing 😕😕😕 I don’t know what to suggest!

I'm glad that I'm not going crazy, i couldn't imagine serving them (obv if ordered emjoi ones, would be ok, although i think they have been over whipped).

Well that's 150 they'll be losing every month from now one since you'll understandably be finding a new baker! Shame!

The buttercream looks like it’s split when they whipped it, it’s looks all grainy.

I wouldn't be happy at all. My standard quick batch of buns look better than these do.

If you ordered poop themed cupcakes then they’re great. Otherwise they’re terrible! The fruit that’s been sliced will probably just go mushy and it looks like the buttercream has split.

Well exactly. What a shame, always been pleased with their other bakes. Oh sigh... Looking for a new baker i guess . Honestly, can't believe they were ok to send out, let alone double down when informed and tried to be offended!?

It's not just that thay look like poo, they look like poo with flies on it! I wouldn't have served them either.

They look like cakes for a charity that tells people to check for blood in their poo.

They are really bad. I'm sure they taste good enough - but I'm not sure that many people would actually be willing to eat them.

I would definitely be voting with my feet and going elsewhere, especially given that you are a regular customer that (presumably) hasn't felt the need to complain before now.

The fact you asked for a partial refund shows you aren’t being unreasonable. You are accepting some of the cakes. The business is being ridiculous. They are awful - fine for the school fete but not for a professional setting.

They do actually! I havent seen them before ( sounds a good idea for a bowel charity though)
