The law of attraction

Do you believe in it? Has it helped your life in anyway by trying to put it into practise? I read the book a few years ago and have been thinking about it. Interested to hear views or 'testimonies'.

Edit: I have been going through a really hard time of late and I guess im trying to find comfort where I can.

I don't think that 'the law of attraction' magically makes things happen, but I do believe that being clear about what you want helps it to manifest. Not in a wierd way.

Our unconscious mind is a powerful thing. You only have to say "I haven't seen a lime green car for months" for one to appear. You haven't manifested the lime green car, you have just noticed that there was one.

So if you use the LOA techniques to focus on what you want, your unconscious brain drives you to now notice things that might help to bring that about. You might be more alert to overhearing things that people say. You might be more observant about opportunities. You might make conscious decisions that help to achieve your goals or ambitions. Social media (and the underlying algorithm) being what it is, you might see more and more posts pointing you in the direction you think you want to follow.

None of it explains a lottery win. The only prerequisite for that is that you actually buy a ticket.

I agree [although I wouldn't personally used the language of 'energetic match' :)] I once read a book called "If You Want To Walk On Water, You Have To Get Out Of The Boat'. It was vaguely religious, but was basically about our own part in making apparent mircles happen.

Tried it for ages once. Followed all the guidelines blah de blah. Always tried to manifest things. Have realised after fifteen years or so that it’s all a pile of bollocks. It’s basically about only seeing what you want to see and achieving things that you can achieve anyway given a bit of effort. Random luck shit like winning the lottery… dream on.

Did the babies and children vote for Hamas?

The next generation of children will follow their parents’ example. If they see their parents living peacefully together with Jews, they are very likely to do the same.
If you teach children hate, they will be haters too.
That’s the best answer I can give you, but other than that I don’t think babies can manifest if this is what you meant..

I think it's a lot to do as well with well why does God allow innocent people to suffer and with out going off on a tangent as far as I was led to believe he gave everyone free will

It works for me. I’ma very lucky person, and I always end up on top. Everything I have ever wanted- I have got/achieved.

I went through a stage of doing it and I had some very weird occurances.

I started small and “manifested” seeing a red balloon. A few minutes later I’m looking for something to listen to on YouTube and a recommendation comes up - 99 red balloons. I’d never even heard of the song before so it freaked me out a bit but I decided it didn’t count as it was just a YouTube coincidence. I got ready to go out to shop and as I got in my car a bloke walked past with a little girl - she was holding a red balloon.

so I decided it did count and I tried for something bigger. I was skint and manifested a £10 note. That evening the bloke I was seeing at the time asked if I wanted to go for a ride to Whitby. We went - and I found a £10 note just lying on the ground.

After that I got greedy and manifested a lottery win. I followed all the steps to the letter - but the universe gave me the finger and I didn’t get one number 😂

I’ve tried it since but it’s hard to really believe something is going to happen when you’re not genuinely convinced. The last time it worked I manifested the bloke I was seeing at the time I tell me he loved me. We went out that evening - I did something daft and he laughed and said “you nutter! I love you” - it was said in jest but he still said it 😂

Damn you Post Office!

No letter yesterday. I've been manifesting like mad, even down to hearing the creak of the garden gate when the postie walks up the path. Really hope today is the day.

write it down, imagine it happening and then believe it has already happened, is that the gist of it?

Yes. There is a book called "the secret" and a documentary of the same name on prime. I've been trying to do it.

I used to have a picture on my wall of a famous bridge in central london. A couple of my friends got a job down in London and I used to look at the picture and think it would be fun to work in London. A few years later I applied for a job locally and I got the job but they said there would be a weekly requirement to go to London. Their office was in the picture behind the bridge. That was really weird. I ended up working there for 4 years.

Then I also out some pretty pictures up last year of some fancy cafes in paris. Unbeknownst to me my dh booked me a surprise trip to Paris this year. Had loads of instances like this. I totally believe in it.
