Anyone live in birmingham? Feels so full of crime and just generally an awful place to live compared to London and Manchester which are full of nice areas. AIBU?

I was one of them! To see Jeff Lynne, would have liked to have seen Black Sabbath too but too late for tickets. I bloody love Birmingham, and the area around the canal near the Utilita was very vibrant and everyone was seemed so friendly, always get that vibe in Birmingham tbh. ❤️

I'm from Coventry so every gig I go to is usually in brum, never had an issue. Visited there so many times obviously because it's 20 mins away by train. Bullring is great for shopping, nice canal, food places, nice hotels too.

My kids dad got tickets for Sabbath, we aren't together but he was sending me videos and I was so jealous🤣. It was at his football teams stadium though so I'm happy he got to go.

It has the same problems as all uk cities and towns are experiencing. Although it seems the city council has made some really disastrous decisions over the past few years which have made things worse than elsewhere.
