And a key point is each condition is different.
Some conditions can be reversed with treatment . Some people with my condition go into remission for periods with treatment. CMD is not one of those conditions.
And also, some conditions like mine are actually made worse by exercise. I know that I will have to plan to rest after exercise and I stick to things like swimming where I can stop the moment my symptoms start appearing. Rest heals my condition and exercise makes it worse. Which is incredibly hard as I love exercise. I am lucky actually to have an amazing husband who picks up most of the housework so I can use my "active time" to swim or go for short walks for pleasure. I have given up seeing some friends because it's obvious they don't want to learn about my condition they just want to preach about exercise
And I realise it's not CBD I am talking about in my case, but my point is two fold
One: it's always thoughtless and ignorant to recommend exercise to friends as a cure unless you are genuine specialist on their condition (nb, not a GP) and you know it will help
Two: it should be a criminal offence for people to misrepresent themselves as having a condition and then claim some natural remedy can cure it (whether that's the Walkers selling walking as a remedy in books, or Belle Gibson and her "brain cancer', or the MLM bots who claimed they had arthritis and that their disgusting MLM gloop would cure it)
