Do you remember when he did the documentary with Charlie Boorman doing an amazing trip by motorbike through Africa ? This was a trip most people would kill for and Charlie was cheerful, upbeat and interesting. Ewan whinged all the way through then flew his wife out there which upset the whole vibe.
