Am I a “psychopath?” (Light hearted)

My friend’s DD has just called me a “psychopath” because she has discovered that I butter hot dog buns when serving/eating hotdogs (The ones from the glass jars made of god knows what…)

My other friends present also think this is strange.

Please tell me that I’m not the only one!

That’s nothing. Someone at work butters wraps.

I’ve never done it but I guess it would be a bit like a bacon roll where the bacon makes the butter go all melty and delicious.

Ha ha! I had hot dogs tonight, but the gorgeous fresh Aldi smoked ones. I didn't actually butter the rolls, I usually do. But I made lots of caramalised fried onions, then slathered that in ketchup and American mustard! I didn't actually miss the butter this time! But I also butter burger buns and scones with jam and cream! 😋

I'm sure it tastes fine, but I have never heard of anyone doing it before.

Should always be buttered, IMO. The melting butter is part of the fun.

I found it strange when my partner asked for his to be buttered even burger buns. I’ve got used to it now 😅

There's a thread on FWR at the moment where they're all putting bananas with curry. Butter in hot dog bun is nowhere close to that madness.

I’ve never tried but butter is delicious on most things so I will be trying it in the near future.

I’m much more disturbed by the notion that some people don’t butter scones.

I have IBS and you don’t know the trouble I go to to find suitable vehicles for butter…most gluten free stuff is rank.

My advice is ABBP (always butter bread products)

Can't be worse than a Costco hotdog.
Every bite makes me wonder what manner of things they put in them. Doesn't help that they're juicy 😵‍💫
