I had heard of him before and knew that he was a famous misogynist, but I watched an interview with him. My gosh he is a madman.

He thinks that the female orgasm is a liberal lie.

He believes that men who have sex with women for pleasure rather solely to procreate, are gay.

He says that all women are simply sex workers, apart from ugly women, because they have to get jobs.

He believes that all the problems in the world are a result of women having the vote.

He says that men who play with their children are gay.

What can have gone so badly wrong in this man’s life that his mind is so warped and twisted?

My husband works in construction some of the younger men who he works with talk about Andrew tate and how he "makes sense" these men have girlfriends wives and children, how can they think he "makes sense"

He projects his own hatred of himself. Most probably gay. Most likely a terrible childhood. Drunk on infamy.

I suppose Tate has taken his queue from the Trump brand of debate. Lies and spin.

I'm not in the least religious, but I sometimes wonder whether the vomit and head-spinning version of demonic possession is a diversion from the fact that malign influences are ultimately the mundane face of the horrors that can grow within human nature, if the ground is fertile. Defeating it requires nuance and understanding plus strong principles, not crucifixes and holy water.....

Sorry to be a bit "anti woke" but there's so much focus at the moment on LGBT+, anti-racism, liberal causes - all of which I agree with - but where is your focus and role model if you're a laddish working class white bloke?

Maybe there's a gap for an influencer who says - you know what, it's okay to want, and aim for, a good income and a nice car. It's okay to want an attractive girlfriend. It's fine to be a "blokey bloke" and enjoy footie and a beer with the lads. But you can aim for all this and still be a decent person who respects others, particularly women. In fact you'll probably go further in life that way.

But there's not much out there representing the above, so Andrew Tate fills the void.

Sadly, it doesn’t sound like he is joking or saying all that nonsense just for attention. He genuinely believes all the bullshit he’s spouting. He’s a sad act.

He is beyond vile. However, the first time I came across him was stuff encouraging young men to take care of themselves physically and mentally and to work hard - obviously behind this was his bile and I think it’s a well known technique to say something rational and draw folk in and then spout your dreadfulness.
But I’ve seen/heard little of this health stuff lately - he seems to believe his own bullshit about men/women, and believe it’s on tablets of stone for him to impart and he is so great he no longer needs a rational lure.
I hope he goes so much too far he loses all followers. And also hope he is jailed.
I’ve heard other comments about sex from him but more along the lines that you sleep with a woman to make her ‘your ho’ - not for babies - perhaps his ideas are developing, more likely he’s deranged.
I’m not sure how he ever got on the big media stuff - he was a trafficker and abuser.
He has serious issues, maybe closeted, but he definitely needs stopping sharing his bile and more importantly his abuse.

I think she means that the real demonic possessions are not the type we see in horror films but the kind of behaviour from lunatics such as Tate, and they are far more dangerous. Charles Manson, Hitler, Putin etc.. were/are similar madmen attracting lots of followers.

No I don't think you're talking rubbish at all. Tate certainly makes himself very available for anyone seeking the kind of bile he spouts. I'm thinking of men like Bear Grylls, Marcus Rashford - but perhaps they aren't as omnipresent as the objectionable Tate.

Yes agreed, I thought of Marcus Rashford too. I guess the problem is those potential role models are spending most of their time actually doing something worthwhile rather than recording nonsense for tiktok!

I assumed that, but it just makes him look even more stupid imo. If you were a really successful guy, and a millionaire, who couldn't get clothes to fit because your muscles were so big, you'd just get clothes tailored to fit, wouldn't you? Wearing clothes that are two sizes too small just makes him look cheap and clueless about how to dress himself!
