Not quite the same thing but I run a food bank for a living and lots of “our” kids will be getting little Lego sets (mainly retired polybags that Lego donated to us to hand on). It’s one of my favourite things.

No room to put any of my Christmas lego in the car, but I'll have giant Santa and the red phone box waiting for me at the weekend when we're back at home.

Looking forward to seeing what you all have

We have been rather slack on getting the Lego built. Five bags still to build on the Christmas tree! I still need to motorise the train and there’s an ice rink, hot chocolate stand and a market stall to build yet!

You have reminded me that I haven't built my Lego Christmas tree yet this year (not the 2025 version). Mine has the odd blue brick adding to the glory!

We got to bag 22 of the new Christmas tree and an integral piece is missing. I’ve ordered it but it won’t be here for about 2 weeks. Annoying to say the least.

I've just had a look at the new sets and think I will be ordering the cactus and daises next week!

I’ve been considering getting the daisies. I would have got the new cactus set too, but I’ve already got the mini plants set, which includes a cactus.

I will be buying the peace lily and the Japanese wall art

@LegoTherapy it might arrive more quickly. DH had a similar issue with his Landrover Defender on the first full day of our holiday last month. It was with us within a week. Is it visible or a special bit in case anyone can help?

The daisies are cute. I fancy the Japanese Cherry Blossom picture as well, along with Paris. I must do Van Gogh's Sunflowers, the giant Santa Minifigure & the Red Phone Box first though.

I built the Christmas gazebo bandstand GWP tonight and it was such a nice build. No technic pieces! Well, possibly four little connectors but I’m not counting those. The Family Christmas Tree has a lot of technic pieces and I don’t care for it at all. Some builds are very clever with technic but I don’t enjoy it. I prefer a more traditional build and this set really hit the spot.

How the hell is the Japanese cherry blossom landscape on back order at only 2 hours into January 1st?!

I know! I ordered it at 5 mins past midnight and got an email to say it’s on back order!

I’ve ordered the daisies, the small love letters and the Japanese cherry blossom painting.

Where does everyone store there Lego? I love making new sets but then there’s only so much space in my house to display it. I have narrowed my Lego interest to Art, flowers and Christmas. I’ve also sold some sets and do swap sets around at home. I’ve loved having my Christmas Lego on display at home. I tried the Brick borrow subscription but found that I didn’t want to return the sets once I had built them! With Brick Borrow you also pay £5 postage each way so I cancelled my subscription.

Here is my Christmas pile - all built and ready to find a home! WALL-e is one of my favourite films of all time 😊 I also had a Japanese Maple Tree but don’t seem to have taken a photo of it.

Ordered Shopping Street (late bday gift from DH). Still not conceptually the most exciting set but I think I will get into it. Plus two GWPs, woohoo! And £30ish in Insiders Points in the bag I think.

I will start my hunt for the new minifigure series this week. Last time the big supermarket was next to useless but Smyths had plenty in.
