Family holiday

Feeling like a 3rd wheel on a family holiday. On holiday with my partner and 3 of his family members. I paid for one of them to come with us. He’s been cold with me and I’m feeling like I can’t do a thing right. Lonely as hell but not much longer to go. He told me yesterday he doesn’t give a shit how I’m feeling but later apologised. Feeling like what the hell. I’m a total doormat!

I was stuck with a now ex partner in Tenerife, it was just him and I and the kids. It was a HARD holiday. Broke up the second we got home from the airport, have never looked back. Hang in there and I’d definitely be leaving him because he doesn’t value you at all

I love him and I get what you all say but I’m hoping it all works out

Don’t waste any more time with him. He is an archetype, I have come across at least two of them in my life so far. Obsessed with “their family” which never ever includes anyone who has married into it.

Cut this off now OP. You deserve better. I wouldn't be paying for his child either. Are you sure he couldn't afford it or was he just all too happy for you to foot the bill.

ShortColdandGrey · 11/07/2025 07:43

Oh well, as long as you love him it is ok for him to treat you like shit 🙄

Clearinguptheclutter · 11/07/2025 09:00

You need to end this op.

Roxy75 · 24/07/2025 23:08

I ended things with him this morning. He was not himself and wasn’t sure where his head was at. I deserve more so called it a day. I’ve been so upset the past few days and the hurt is so bad. I know I’ll be ok in the end x

Honestly you have done the right thing. Better to end it now. Read your early posts if you start to wobble

Roxy75 · 25/07/2025 01:04

Thank you. It’s been hard but I know I’ll be ok x
