If anyone can manage to sit through this podcast between Meghan and Jamie Kern Lima, what are your thoughts about Meghan saying this?
And what are your thoughts on Meghan in general after watching her talking with Jamie here?
I don't know if I'm BU but I pick up on narcissist vibes.

The interviewer seems like she’s had a lobotomy or is heavily medicated. Utterly bizarre.

With Meghan - I don’t think she’s learned the thing that saying “I work so hard. I’m such a good friend. I show up” blah blah is always going to sound fake even to many Americans. Esp with that daft upwards inflections.
Stories or anecdotes where we might draw that conclusion might help her.

Or even an ounce of humour. I think maybe when I try and think about what makes her so jarring (sadly - I’m in the really wanted to like her camp) it’s the utter lack of humour about herself or anything really. As opposed to someone like Kate Lawler (as a truly random example they don’t move in the same circles) but she is good in insta as she takes the piss out of herself.

Princess Catherine then SHOWS us how good she is with kids. Stopping a car because she spots a little girl who had shouted hello princess at the top of her lungs on a visit. Crouching down and looking genuinely happy when she chats to little kids. Not on podcasts banging on endlessly about how she is SO GOOD with kids. Kids love her. Blah blah.

Really depends on your type. I prefer my men not to look like drug addled morons with IQs below average, but each to their own.

Some of these responses are silly .
Women says something nice about the man she loves and then we get a whole bunch of people making an issue out of this .

What surprised me about Jamie Kern Lima is how vacuous she sounds. Maybe this is some sort of ingrained style-over-substance persona that she learned during her beauty pageant days.

The 2nd hand cringe i experienced watching that clip was hard to take.

Money blurs the edges of facial imperfections.

No one thinks she shouldn't think her husband is attractive to her but trying to convince the podcast audience they should also think he is handsome and a fox is what is mystifying.

My reaction is: It's lovely that she still thinks he's so marvelous. Not many marriages still have those vibes after ... 7 years? Although it can be suspected that the more you gush over your relationship the last perfect it really is... still, I'm inclined to believe it's genuine. Not that I much care beyond hoping for anyone & their children that they have continued genuine healthy true mutual affection.

I don’t think it’s that deep though. She’s just bigging him up. She’s not some master manipulator trying to convince us all that he’s the most handsome man on the planet.

They’ve both aged like egg sandwiches, let’s be real. William looks like Princess Anne and also like he has the entire weight of the world on his shoulders (tbf he has had a stressful and sad life) and Harry has angry beady eyes and a permanently cross look on his face. Neither are particularly smart or charismatic, either. Centuries of inbreeding has not been kind to them.

I really wish M&H would go away. I do not understand why they keep trying to make her ‘likeable’. She really really isn’t, and that’s ok. She doesn’t need to be! As long as they like each other!

It's very American pick me girl to say something like that. A handsome husband is worth a lot more social capital in the States than in the UK, among a certain group of people (image obsessed). If you've ever come across it as a Brit, you'll know what I mean. It's jaw-droppingly weird for us.

Harry isn't unattractive, he is tall, fit, dressed smartly most of time.

Have you looked at Harry recently? I'm absolutely NOT one to value people for their appearance, and don't condemn men as unattractive simply for losing their hair, but Harry is not looking great these days in the sense that he often looks angry, pasty/blotchy in the face and yes, he does seem to have inherited the Windsor close-set eyes rather than Diana's bone-structure, which William has.

I say this only because I feel strongly that your comment is unfair to William who has bravely owned his baldness - and is still a handsome man despite that. Sometimes the years are unkind to us all - and of course it's not fair to look at the young princes in their student years and criticise them for getting old (relatively...).

Must admit that I hadn't noticed Harry being handsome, but it's in the eye of the beholder.
