Ok. I have been married 23 years he is much older.

He has always been controlling but got much worse the last 9 years.

The other day he produced a daft sex toy a dildo thing inside a plastic cactus.
He stuck it up me said enjoy it i couldnt. He got angry and struck me across the face with it.
Always putting me down.
He hates my family i hardly see them since we married.
Forces me to socialise with his family he has 2 grown children.
He goes to a pub every night.
When i stood up to him today he said i can move out he owns the house.
I think my name is on the deeds but not certain.
I have been diagnosed with depression he says im lying trying to get attention from my doctor.
What can i do.

Try to get him repeating that in a text or similar (or record the conversation without him knowing) and then take it to the police.

He lies to you. He plays Billy Big Bollocks and talks utter shite and you keep believing him. STOP BLOODY LISTENING TO HIM FFS. He’s thick as pigshit and he can’t do any or the things he keeps claiming he can.

See a solicitor, see the police, see the bloody Citizens Advice Bureau if need be. Listen to Refuge. He cannot ‘destroy you’. He’s just shitting his kecks because he knows he’s a rapist.

Another thing im really worried about he once said months ago he could put the house in his younger brothers name and make it look like he pays rent to his brother.
He also said a divorce would fuck his retirement up so he wouldnt have to give me anything.
I wish to god i had never met him.
I have sent a request to national legal services for a call back.
When i do divorce him i can only afford a apartment around a hundred thousand the house is worth about two hundred and forty thousand so i wont get legal aid will i.

@TheCoralMoose its good you’re reaching out for legal advice. Tell them the situation as it stands, they should be able to confirm what you are legally entitled to and the best way to proceed. He’s trying to scare you to get his own way and continue to control you.
