To put this note on the neighbours door

So I live in a street that is basically all student house shares (myself included). One house has left bin bags outside their door (as opposed to in the bin down the street) and they’ve burst so rubbish is EVERYWHERE. I was woken up at 6 after a stressful exam by 20 seagulls on our street and I’m worried we’re going to get rats. Would I be unreasonable to stick this note to their door (I’d post it but I know most people here don’t look at their mail). This is kind of the final straw for me after multiple parties and a street FULL of rubbish is the final straw!

I don’t see a problem in putting a note on the neighbours’ door, but not that one - they will think you are deranged if they see thst 😆😆😆

Ur note is the least they deserve. Sure everyone would be happy to have rats and mice than upset the poor wee students.

Don’t be ridiculous. They’d take a week to stop laughing if she put that note on their door, they’d all put it on their social media so their friends could laugh at it too. Upset them indeed!

Either speak to them or report them, notes on doors etc will be ignored or laughed at.

Print out a snapshot of your video evidence with the caption " i hope you have a spare £400 " 💅

I take everyone’s point. That was more of a vent and I will reword and make less aggressive. I’m running on about 2 hours sleep because of them and it’s very much straw that broke the camels back.

If you'd had 2 hours of sleep by 6am, you went to bed far too late.

You were so busy using exclamation marks that you forgot to use a question mark.

Once that is fixed, go for it.

SunnySideUK77 · 19/05/2025 14:36

You are not being unreasonable about wanting something done but the wording of that note is most definitely unreasonable.

So brave when it comes to writing but won't knock and speak to anyone like an adult 🙄
