To ask how to get DD off an escort agency?

Does anyone know how to fix this? DD(22) is being bombarded with phonecalls and WA messages from men asking what her rate is and if she's still working.
One of them said he'd found her number on a website so she googled her own number and found it on an escort agency. We're assuming it's a typo 😕 (she isn't an escort, she has a job).
She doesn't want to change her number, what else can she do?

Surely there's photos with the listing? Or stats like height bra size etc??

According to DD it's a woman in her 30s, photo nothing like DD.

Me too.

If she's been doing this as pp have said, and has changed her mind or is scared for any reason, then she needs help.

CKapron · 28/04/2025 20:49

She's fine, not scared. She's going to set up a temporary email address to contact the agency.

Don't you find it sus that you haven't seen the advert yourself

GiroJim100 · 28/04/2025 20:51

The daughter’s response is baffling and does suggest that she has worked for them before. There is no reason why you wouldn’t just contact the agency to advise them of this. Having the number changed would be a mutually positive outcome for all properties. So why would she not want to raise this? Unless……

CKapron · 28/04/2025 20:55

Contacting the agency does seem the obvious response, but Gen Z generally interacting in unknown situations. She's much happier to email - she was assuming it would have to be a phonecall and didn't want to have to talk to yet another sleazy bloke.

I would have thought this is the most obvious reason, since when did having a job stop someone escorting on the side? You’re being naive OP.

This was exactly my first thought!

Why doesn't she want to contact the agency? Why does she think it would cause trouble for her? Surely they'd be grateful you got in touch as it must be affecting their business?

DD set up the account to make extra cash.
It will cause trouble as she may get blacklisted from other escort sites.
DD is losing business (and money for her first house deposit) as DM read/heard/saw something on the phone, and offered to help the situation. DD fibbed it must be a mistake to throw DM off the scent.
@CKapron In all seriousness she needs to do something as this won't go away. They will change it if it's an honest mistake.
