Usually I love a smoky bacon flavour crispy snack, but Wheat Crunchies? vom.

I absolutely love these. Especially when you get a pack that has been liberally covered with the bacon flavouring….

However the absolute God tier of bacon crisps is Smiths Bacon Fries.

The main offence Wheat Crunchies commit is there are too few of them in a bag.

There are many worse offenders in the crisp world though:
Pickled Onion Monster Munch (beef is fine but pickled onion is a travesty)
Nice 'n' Spicy Nik Naks (a crime against nature)
Worcestershire flavoured crisps of any make/model
Fucking Quavers - whoever invented these should be locked up, they have the worst texture and an appalling flavour

Plus the golden rule is, if someone invents a new flavour of crisps, usually either they are very similar to something already out there or more often there's a bloody good reason nobody made it before.

Have you lost your actual mind? Frazzles are KING OF CRISPS, followed closely by Roast Beef Monster Munch and Cheesy Wotsits.

Kettle Chips et al can do one.

Apart from Walkers Sensations Roast Chicken and Thyme, who get an honourable mention.

I’m absolutely outraged. I love that they repeat on me to remind me of the smoky bacon flavour.
My one gripe is that you get approx 9 in a bag and so 4 bags is the appropriate amount which makes you feel like a greedy gobbler but in reality you know really that it’s the correct portion size for one.

Especially when they're cold from the fridge! Discovered this by accident when I used to buy frazzles from the vending machine at work and they always came out chilled, bacon fries are even better.

They's be knocked off their first place podium though if they brought back smoky bacon footballs. Or cheese and onion skydivers.

I tried wotsits bacon flavour recently. I love wotsits, I love the texture and the way they melt in your mouth. I also love bacon flavour.

Wotsits bacon flavour have neither the melting wonderfulness of real cheesy wotsits, or any bacon flavour. A slight smoke flavour, that is all. So disappointed - I will never EVER buy them again. In fact - I bought a 6 pack and actually threw the rest away! Snacks just don't get thrown away in my house as they are a treat, so this was a first.

Utter nonsense. The only complaint I have with these is that there simply aren't enough in a packet.

Bacon ones not nice but then I don't like bacon flavour stuff.

I love them, but not had any for years ! I didn't know they were still available to buy, I just used to buy and eat my weight in them when we went to the pub ! I must find some soon
