Have you ever been to a concert alone?

One of my favourite bands are playing at a venue in one of my favourite places (abroad and sunny). I don't have friends who would be interested in coming along with me. I'd look pathetic there alone, wouldn't I?

Yes. No problem at all, enjoyed it. You don't talk anyway when tge show is on.

Yes, the last one was last weekend. It's perfectly fine and once you get there you are surrounded by others who are there for the same reason so no one is thinking you're sad etc.

No. I went to see the Foo Fighters last year on my own....it was my 60th birthday treat to myself. I was bricking it to begin with then I thought if I don't go I'll regret it for the rest of my life. I went and it was amazing - I can't remember feeling that exhilarated for a long, long time. You get talking to people and I wouldn't think twice about doing it again. For the Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl I would walk over hot coals!!!

All the time. At least 10 times a year on my own including in other countries. I love it. I never feel awkward.
i go to the theatre alone a couple of times a month at least.
i also go to the theatre and gigs with others but i love going alone too

It's really lovely to read about so many people just getting stuck in having a good time.
