Please make me feel better and tell me what calorific things you have eaten today?! No salads allowed!

This is just normal eating, imo. Breakfast, followed by lunch.

Well that makes me feel a bit better as I usually read on here that people have a yoghurt and a handful of nuts for breakfast 😭

Yesterday I ate a tin of cookiesI’d brought back from holiday. They were very small though, about the size of giant chocolate buttons.

Yorkshireteaalwayswins · 27/03/2025 09:22

I was bad yesterday and had a croissant followed by a sharers bag of maltesers then because I'd had a lot of chocolate, i had a red leicester hot cross bun from Tesco. So nice but this was all before 10.30am. Oops!

Not today @Midweekmayhem but I bought a box of 6 mini magnum billionaires, hid them in the freezer and ate 3 a day on Sunday and Monday- then started low carbing on Tuesday lol. I think I’ve got the need for sugar out of my system!

3 just equals 1 old school regular size, before they shrunk them! 😂

Just thought I'd share I had pizza for dinner, with lidl crispy chicken chunks on the side last night (sounds disgusting but don't knock em until you've tried them), and peri peri mayo! A very greedy day was yesterday. Stodge and chocolate did just the trick to ease my period pains. 😂

Malteasers are just filled with malty air really, and they've shrunk them, I think you've been quite disciplined there, it is the same with aero, all air! 🤣

Thats very true and makes me feel a bit better! I'm on Slimming World and I'd just been weighed that morning so I decided to splurge a little. So nice after being restrictive for the previous week.😊

Well done on your loss!
Diets are pointless anyway, it is a lifestyle change. In my lifestyle I need a good binge every now and then 🤤. It tastes extra good when you've not had it in ages!

Yesterday I scoffed half of one of those big Tony's Chocolonely bars. Salted caramel.

I've done that before now. I reckon it takes so much effort to break the things, I'm just replacing calories.

DilemmaDelilah · 27/03/2025 12:44

If this redeems me for my very poor effort sharing a (sharing) kit kat with my DH yesterday... I had 2 crumpets with butter and golden syrup followed by some cherry yoghurt and granola for breakfast - I've just had garlic sausage, coleslaw and bread and butter for lunch and I'm about to have a large slice of chocolate sponge. This evening we're having spaghetti bolognese followed by apricot crumble and custard. I also have some garlic croutons crisping in the oven so I'm bound to have some of those later.

90g bar of fruit and nut one day earlier in the week

Not all at once, but somehow the entire bar disappeared over the course of the day
Just looked it up to check size, Might have been 110g.

I have found my people on this thread. Got to do an extra zinger, and sweet chilli bites for the side, it is the only way. 😂

It really is, I mean its just a waste of delivery fees if you don't add the extras. But then I took it to far and had a big bit of seasoned chicken, jollof rice & garlic butter smashed potatoes for dinner and gave myself belly ache 😳😂

MarkWithaC · 27/03/2025 15:17

This isn't answering your question, but I've never had Biscoff chocolate; is it nice? I like the sandwich biscuits, particularly the vanilla ones.

sweeneytoddsrazor · 27/03/2025 15:28

I had one of the new Dairy Milk biscoff bars yesterday. It was bloody good and no sharing was involved.

Oh, I haven't tried that one. I had Lotus with the red wrapper.
Incase anybody likes the biscoff spread, just wanted to say Aldi, Lidl and Asda do their own brand. Asda's is nice, but a little bland. Aldi, and especially the Lidl brand version, is amazing (arguably between than Lotus)! I use it when I bake, 🤤

It is very indulgent, it feels extra luxurious with the foil! Usually I can only manage a couple of squares at a time because it is sickly, but for some reason I ate the whole bar. It had been a long time since I had a proper bar of chocolate.
They do 3 flavours, not that I'm a superfan or anything !😂Don't be fooled by the milk chocolate with biscoff spread flavour, as it is actually the crunchy biscoff not smooth, which makes it even better imo.
If you like the vanilla biscuits, maybe the white would be for you?

I think the only sensible thing to do is test them all, don't you? Grin
