Please make me feel better and tell me what calorific things you have eaten today?! No salads allowed!

YABU for not saving me any. I'm having a cheat day, as I'm premenstrual and have the munchies.

I've had 9 buttered crackers (so moreish!) A slice of birthday cake, a bag of crisps, a miniroll and now I'm eating a sausage roll and a cookie with the full intention of having McDonald's for dinner.

The diet can go fuck itself with the empty Greggs bag.

Will you be my friend please?! 😃

LilacPony · 26/03/2025 14:00

I eat a 180g bar every Friday night 😂😂😂😂

I'm not looking on the back of the scrunched up wrapper beside me to see the calories; I'm presuming almost a day's worth, though 😬 Half was supposed to be for another time, then just though sod it, I'm eating it all.

Edited

Well I always think I would have just had the calories the next day anyway so may as well have them all at once!

DilemmaDelilah · 26/03/2025 14:05

@MissScarletInTheBallroom I could quite easily have eaten the whole thing myself even though it's a 'sharing' bar... but DH bought it and was sitting right next to me so I didn't get the opportunity ☹️

DilemmaDelilah · 26/03/2025 14:09

@Midweekmayhem it was very good! It's mixed milk and plain but tastes more plain than milk, to me. Kit kats have never been my top choice in chocolate, but I might be persuaded to change my mind.

And to everyone who is outraged by my sharing the kit kat... it was one of the big sharing bars and I didn't WANT to share it!

LBFseBrom · 26/03/2025 14:11

I don't buy biscuits or sweets because I know I would lack self control if I started, even though I don't have a sweet tooth.

I had a ciabatta roll with feta cheese, tomato, olives and basil leaves earlier. That is quite enough until later.

CarrieOnComplaining · 26/03/2025 14:12

I ate an entire packet of Welsh Cakes on Monday - so am eating soup and salad yesterday and today .As I am doing a bit of re-set after my autumn and winter comfort eating.

theressomanytinafeysicouldbe · 26/03/2025 14:19

I was really good with a M&S chicken mushroom courgetti meal............

Followed by a M&S Cheese hot cross bun with lashings of real butter.........

Followed by an indulgent and slightly massive double chocolate chip cookie.......

Oops

Yes, me too,! Apologise in advance about tmi, but painful menstrual cramps are much more bearable with chocolate, oh and cake etc!

Edited

Hormones demand chocolate, it’s very basic science !

I’ve just bought cherry Bakewell ice cream that Im very much looking forward to stuffing myself with tonight!

DopeyS · 26/03/2025 14:28

I have eaten normally today sorry. But last week I got home from work and decided to have a piece of cake that was leftover from the weekend. It needed microwaving and someone three mini doughnuts from the freezer also ended up in the microwave and I ate all of them. Not sure how it happens sometimes. As long as you enjoyed it and it's not every day I don't see the harm. Sometimes your body/mind just has cravings and it happens.

Redpeach · 26/03/2025 14:29

What about wine

ChopstickNovice · 26/03/2025 14:30

Yesterday I scoffed half of one of those big Tony's Chocolonely bars. Salted caramel.

charmanderflame · 26/03/2025 14:32

😂3 packs of walkers crisps from a multipack, and half a pack of fox's viennese biscuits.

I'm pregnant, though, and you only get like 8 biscuits in a pack anyway! (rip off!)

volingaround · 26/03/2025 14:32

I sat with my back against the freezer door last week eating three quarters of a tub of Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream while my children watched television in the other room.

I was on my period.

Oh god I love those - has to be the big bars though. the small ones just don't taste the same.

I don’t think splitting one Kit Kat between two of you is what the OP had in mind when she said ‘calorific’ tbh

Maybe the "new" KitKat bars weigh 1 kg...? #hopeful

Exactly, they say your body sometimes craves what it is lacking; sugar evidently in my case!

Go for it. I wish I could.

I was diagnosed coelic 4 years ago, and one of my regrets in life (seriously) is that I never tried biscoff before I was diagnosed. There was alway another time, another day, until there wasn’t.

I used to fucking love the chocolate Aldi did with salted pretzels in it.

I can still have the Aldi caramel chocolate if I want which is nice, but man, I miss the crunch.

Anyway people, don’t be like me. Try all the shit because if you don’t, one day, you might regret it as I do.

MinnieMountain · 26/03/2025 14:49

Ask me again on Sunday…

It just has to be done, I love Magum cracked salted caramel. Thick chocolate and icecream in one tub, 2 for the price of 1! 🤤

KFC zinger rice bowl with an extra fillet and a tub of BBQ chicken chunks.

Well, like all cakes they're best eaten fresh, so it had to be done.

If it is an consolation they are addictive, and sometimes it is better not to have tried it, then you cannot miss it.
I can't drink, don't smoke, so I have to have one guilty pleasure! I have to space these things out though, as I'm a go big or go home sort of person.

YABU, that chocolate is not good. Love biscoff, love chocolate but the biscoff bar was really not my cup of tea.

Likewise the Reese's peanut butter bar is not good even though the peanut butter cups are amazing.

(However, YANBU to eat an entire bar of chocolate. Sometimes needs must!)
