I know he’s not really conventionally attractive, but I love his stuff and I think he’s really talented - and yeah. I would.

Anyone else?

I love his relationship with Jodie Comer. He helped her on her way up and now they have a mutual admiration society.
The drama they did together, Help, was fantastic.

This is how I feel about David tennant. He’s clearly not conventionally attractive but there’s something about him! I watched Rivals and thought, yeah, I definitely would haha

Ew. David Tennant is utter slime.

Retrospeaker · 16/03/2025 07:15

Well it seems like there are two different Stephen Grahams! But as @Fountains said I shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

I must admit I’m not the biggest fan of the scouse accent, but watching him in a thousand blows at the moment and he’s very good at the cockney accent. I do have a weakness for rough and ready types!

Adolescence is next on the list.

Oh I didn’t know about this! Another one to add to the list

There have been stories that didn't show him in a great light. I think he's a fantastic actor but I'm not sure about him as a person.

What stories?!

Bornintheeighties · 16/03/2025 07:20

JitterbugFairy · 16/03/2025 06:37

He lives near me but yet to bump into him. He's lovely by all accounts.

I know a couple of people who know him and they both say how nice he is.

Bornintheeighties · 16/03/2025 07:24

My friend used to clean his house before he moved, and she told me that both he and his wife are lovely people, friendly and chatty and very down to earth.

And my friend saw them both on a regular basis and doesn't have a bad word to say about either of them, so I think you can take with a pinch of salt the stories you read in the media.

MightAsWellBeGretel · 16/03/2025 07:27

No, but he's a really great actor and you'd have to be really emotionally switched on to play the roles that he has - maybe that's what it is?

Vincenoirsrootboost · 16/03/2025 07:27

He’s brilliant. Such a great example of positive masculinity. His acting skills, confidence, personality, all make him very attractive. He seems fun too.

ViolentBeaver · 16/03/2025 07:39

He was very funny on the Off Menu podcast recently.

As was David Tennant who also gets a mention on this thread.

What stories?!

They have already been mentioned in this thread. The football and go kart stories.

I remember him getting shit years ago for doing a photoshoot for The Sun, but that seems to have been erased from the net.

Stephen Graham 'faces FA investigation' for x-rated abusive rant at referee

The British actor, 51, faces an FA investigation after an abusive outburst at a referee during a non-league football match last weekend

Completely reasonable in every conceivable way. None of this Jason Momoa nonsense. Give me Stephen Graham or Alexander Armstrong any day!

They are very different men 🤣

Oh Help is such a good one. Made me really angry though. Angry tears!

He makes my skin crawl.

Something about him makes me think he's a deeply unpleasant man.

And vastly overrated.

Sorry

You may not like him which is fair opinion , but if anything until recent years he has been massively underrated as an actor

Sorry to shit on your chips but he's a lovely fella. And he definitely isn't overrated.

Springhassprungxx · 16/03/2025 08:05

Love him

Ok... glad to hear it. I was just giving my visceral reaction to him. I hadn't heard any of the negative stories when I had that reaction, so it was just primal instinct. I'm more than happy to be wrong!

Ita about a care home during COVID and is fantastic. I'm a big JC fan. Comer is my maiden name so I'm claiming her as a long lost niece.

MaltipooMama · 16/03/2025 08:43

I think he’s a wonderful actor but the first thing I ever saw him in was This is England and I’ve never been able to get him playing that character out of my head so I always have a bit of completely unjust resentment towards him 😂 just shows what an amazing actor he is!

JitterbugFairy · 16/03/2025 15:19

If no one has ever seen, I can't recommend "This is England" enough.

Oblomov25 · 16/03/2025 15:27

Shame. I like his acting. Had no idea how nasty he is.

Whippetmomma · 16/03/2025 15:54

Another fan here too. I've got a soft spot for him

BarneyRonson · 16/03/2025 16:14

Ugh no. Not attractive to me at all. Little Mr Potato Head.
