My friend never offers to drive

i have a friend in our social group that lives nearby and she often manipulates it that I drive and never offers to drive me. If we share a taxi she gets dropped off first so I have to pay a bigger share as I’m dropped off last. We are about to go away for a weekend and I know she will expect me to drive. How can I politely suggest that she offers.

I don't really like driving other people around - maybe your friend has her reasons for not offering?
Why don't you just ask her? Say you've noticed you seem to be doing most of the driving and would quite like a break.

Thanks I am nearly sixty I can do local drives 2 to 5 miles but would rather take a longer route on an A road than set foot on the motorway.
