To just want some bloody money (not a begging thread)

Not a begging thread but I just want some money. I just want to feel I have something to my name 😩 Salary goes in and shoots back out again the following week no matter how much I faff around with budgets.

I know I’m not alone - it’s a solidarity thread more than anything. I just want to have some bloody MONEY!

We wouldn't need pay rises if the government had raised the income tax thresholds in line with inflation. As it is, we are all paying more and more tax every year, which hits lower earners especially hard. It's very unfair.

no matter what stage of life you are at, the money is never enough.

When I first started working I earned £6k a year FT in an office, single living at home. I was out most nights and ran a car on that. Now I earn £45k more than that and my DH is on £65k and we still don't have enough money. I don't necessarily want a million (although that would be nice) just enough to have a cleaner/eat out as many nights as we wanted to a week/buy a holiday home abroad (pipe dream)/go away to Europe for random long weekends (we can currently only go term time and of course the prices are £££), get the car properly cleaned every 6 weeks or so etc.

I hate money but I love money.
