How drunk would you be after 4 small Proseccos?

Just curious as I can never understand my alcohol tolerance

I would probably be starting on the hangover at the end of glass 2. I don't really drink (1 or 2 a year on average) and wine just gives me a headache.

It's 3/4 of a bottle in 2 hours so in my 40s I'd be a bit giggly, in my 50s I'd be merry and now in my 70s I'd be trying on other people's glasses, twanging my friends' bra straps and inviting the waiter to join us on holiday!

That's because it's an unusually neutrally-phrased thread for an alcohol-related one imo. Judgy booze OPs get all the drinkers coming along and saying 'Pah, you pearl-clutching lightweights!' and then the inevitable horrified pile-on from the anti-alcohol side. People love to contradict. There's nothing to contradict in an open question!

I'd be able to tell I'd had a drink, but would be barely tipsy.

Would depend how quickly I drank them and whether I'd eaten. Over the course of an evening, with a meal, I'd probably know I'd had a drink, but wouldn't be drunk.

I wouldn't knock four glasses back quickly on an empty stomach.

I too would be sick on a small glass of dark rum. I would be drunk on a small measure of Tequila. Red wine and whiskey (and Prosecco!) have almost no impact. So funny.

Yes, this is me. I can drink endless glasses of prosecco and be fine the next day (not saying I wouldn't be tipsy after a couple of bottles though!)

Would people actually be passed out drunk vomiting after 4 proseccos?

I'd be tipsy, maybe drunk if I'd not eaten but no where near vomiting or passing out. I wouldn't have much, if any of a hangover the next day. I reckon I'd have to have 3 bottles to actually be that drunk.

I think most people I know have at some point drunk 4 proseccos or equivalent in my presence and no one has passed out. Thinking at weddings, Christmas day

four small glasses is 2/3 of a bottle or about 6 units of alcohol.

Over 2 hours, I'd be light headed, unfit to drive, and wanting my bed. But then I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol.

4 small prosecco wouldn't affect me in the slightest 🥂

I have felt tipsy after one, but I guess because I’m only 4’10 and ‘petite’ so alcohol hits me more than the average person. Depending on what I ate that day and how big the glass is, I would say four would make me very tipsy, bordering drunk (whatever people class as drunk anyway)

@Meadowfinch I'm tall but I don't know why my tolerance is so high. Saying that, the rest of the family is the same and I can out drink the men

Last time I went out I had Prosecco, wine (2 bottles), cocktails, tequila, gin and then vodka

The weirdest thing is I barely drink, and that was a night out after no alcohol for 18 months! I got home at 6am, but did have a hangover from hell

Eh? The OP asked about prosecco but some people (including me) don't like prosecco, so gave an example of something reasonably similar but made differently (hence mentioning what it was in case that's relevant). What's peak MN about that?

Glass 1 chill Glass 2 chill Glass 3 laughing starts Glass 4 talking about people we dont like Glass 5 dancing in boxers and baggy shirts / jumpers and taking selfies Glass 6 order food 4 bottles later wake up with best mates feet in my face, wondering what the fuck we did why is there tinsel round my waist its june why our gay mate got mini umbrellas in his hair why she got socks on her hands time to get coffee ready.

However when we are on holiday whole different game we wake up and start texting each other where the fuck are you are you alive get a reply with a pic oh dear he looked better last night french exit time before he wakes.

And spend the following day hungover and share last nights stories just to do it all again.
Yeah we need to grow up.

I'd be legless. But could have several vodkas and feel slightly tipsy.
