Neighbour has been unwell with flu . Just rang and asked her if she needed any shopping . Gave me a short list including washing liquid . She asked for the Persil " non binary one " . 😁 She knows i am posting and wants to read the responses to cheer her up .

@EdgeofSeventy , yes, I've heard that. My niece feels exactly the same, which makes me think it could be genetic too.

I believe it's similar with celery, which I find mild and inoffensive, while DH thinks it's bitter and the spawn of Satan, and can detect it in soups a mile off.

I cannot tolerate rocket. I know it's meant to be a bit bitter, but to me it tastes radioactive. Really disagrees with me too.
