Following on from the thread about Dave Coaches, I was wondering if anyone had a soft spot for any of the cast of The Big Bang Theory.

Yep Leslie Winkle was Darlene in Rosanne and the actress who played Sheldon's mum was also in Rosanne as the sister.

Have you ever had one of those moments when something you've always thought to be true turned out not to be?

That's just happened to me.

I always had in my mind that the actress who played Leslie Winkle was the same actress who appeared with Kaley Cuoco in "8 Simple Rules...".

But now that I google it, it turns out I was completely wrong, that was an entirely different actress, Amy Davidson.

Now that I've gone back and watched some old footage, I can't believe that I ever made that mistake

Also the mum of young Sheldon is the real life daughter of the mum of tbbt Sheldon. Zoe perry. Her dad is meredith greys dad from greys anatomy

Raj too - he is very attractive

I'd have to go for Penny or Bernardette. The men? Absolutely not.

The only characters I liked were Sheldon and Penny.
When you then watch Young Sheldon and see his relationship with his twin sister Missy you realise why he got on so well with Penny. The way he interacted with Penny - despite them being complete opposites - was very similar. They accepted each others quirks and personalities and took care of each other.
The rest of the characters were just "meh". Amy really annoyed me. She was horrible to Sheldon. Leonard had no personality.
If I was in charge of the ending I definitely wouldn't have made Penny pregnant.
I would have her dumping Leonard, Sheldon dumping Amy and then Penny and Sheldon become roommates and live happily ever after in a brother/sister type relationship. Sheldon's mum definitely preferred Penny to Amy.

If I was in charge of the ending, surely Howard and Amy should have gotten together, it was very sweet when they went out with each other.

Agree, there is no perfect TBBT character, but that's what makes it work and creates the drama and the fun within the episodes and the story.

I liked Sheldon's mother; because she was almost unflappabable, she was very secure in herself and in her values.
Sheldon was often great, but Amy was perfect when she pulled Sheldon up on his egoistical traits and selfishness. When he visits her in her lab during his enforced holidays and makes fun of her research, I really thought that's it now; they are over. He did a few things that would make half of MN tell her LTB.

My favourite scene between Sheldon and Penny was the gift giving, her giving him the autograph and him with the tens of gift baskets. That's where they really understood each other.
Bernadette was really good, too.

Howard was absolutely creepy; I did not understand how a character like Bernadette would be with him.

The main cast of Leonard, Sheldon and Penny is my favourite; honourable mention to Leonard's mother to say most of her lines with a straight face.

Barry Kripke was fun and President Siebert, too.

I love Bernadette, glad they changed her from their first date though. I'm practically word perfect on TBBT, it's my self regulation tool ! If you watch it as Sheldon being autistic it hits different, Leonard is often not very accepting of Sheldon. Penny is meant to be the hot one but Bernadette is sexier imo lol !
