to ask about Big Bang Theory?

Following on from the thread about Dave Coaches, I was wondering if anyone had a soft spot for any of the cast of The Big Bang Theory.
I’m too old to admit this in real
life but I think Raj is so cute and lovely 🤪

Big Bang Theory is a huge hit in our house. We’ve watched it since the start and it’s our go to programme if there’s nothing else on.

in fact as im typing this my DH and DS have started singing the theme song in the next room 😂

I love Leonard.

We all love Big Bang in our house and often watch it. Very funny and love all the characters.

I hate the way Raj's character is tied up at the end. Everyone else finds a partner, has big success in their career and really grows as a person, but Raj meets a celeb on a plane?? It's like the writers just gave up!
I also felt a bit disappointed that Penny was pregnant. She'd always said she didn't want kids, Bernadette did the whole "yeah but you do" speech and it really narked me. Like the producers called the script team and said "this won't sell well to middle America, she needs a baby"

Yep. I love this show but I'm still furious that they made Penny pregnant. So lazy. They were a wonderful childfree couple.

the actor playing Sheldon said his first thought when they met was "what a beautiful man".

my favourite character is Penny but I was also annoyed they wrote in a baby for her

i should like Bernadette more but why did she decide to do that awful squeaky voice (it was her decision it seems).

All the characters are adorable in their own right. All have flaws. None of the men are appealing in the least, though.

Sheldon is too controlling.
Raj turns into an arse when drunk.
Howard has big mummy issues and is spoiled.
Leonard is a cheat.
Stuart is too needy.
Kripke actually comes out best of the lot, and that is even with his tendency for self-absorbed BS 😆
Actually, Penny's on-off boyfriend for a while was a decent character despite his lacking intellect.

What makes TBBT so good is that none of the characters are perfect, and all of them develop in some way to grow on you.

I like them all but have a soft spot for Barry Kripke - his outrageous chutzpah, and unflappable self-confidence, also the way Stuart Bloom's character was allowed to develop.

I also thought Leonard was one if the weaker characteristics. Thought Penny had better chemistry with Sheldon.

I love Sheldon, in a maternal way only. Whilst I loved the series - and cried with laughter at times, it could be very problematic re. racism and sexism. Leonard was probably the least worst.

I love Sheldon's mum. Love her character.

I didn't realise he had been in Rosanne, but wasn't the girl (now woman) in the picture you just posted in Big Bang too? Didn't they sort of date?
