Pls is this card adequate from a partner of 29 years and 2 kids?

The card is a bit tacky, but it's more about the words inside for me... If the inside AND the outside are a bit shit, then that says a lot.

If you are someone who likes a card, then it's hardly a sacrifice for him to make sure you have a nice one with some kind words. PP sneering about giving cards to partners are being nasty.

if DH got me similar for my birthday I'd think he'd lost his mind.

Looks OK to me. DH remembered it was Christmas in time to buy a card and write something in it, though we don't know what. He probably thought the picture and message are 'cute'.

We don't do cards to each other, but if you normally do and this is a change I can understand more why it is bothering you.

I couldn't get upset about something that, I assume, will be in the recycling box in a couple of days, but that's just my opinion. It clearly wasn't adequate for you and that's all that matters.
