Finished the food shop this morning, work finished, friends meet ups done. Took Dd for Christmas treat at cafe today, now cuddled up watching a kids film, maybe dog walk on the beach later.
Tomorrow..dog walk, making mince pies & gingerbread, xmas eve movies & dinner

What are your plans for today & tomorrow? Wondering if we should be doing more??

Done the last bits of shopping and wrapping this morning, had a nice lunch with Dh and ds2, now I'm having a long bath, painting my nails and chilling.
Ds2 has gone to meet his gf and ds1 is at work so it's just Dh and I. Ds1 and his gf are here for dinner tonight so we'll probably have a drink and maybe play a game or watch a film.

Tomorrow we're travelling 3hrs to SIL's where we're spending Christmas. We may go to church, will definitely go to the pub, eat, drink and be merry.

Youngest has gone out for the afternoon with friends, others so their own thing.

I'm lounging around doing nothing waiting for the panic to kick in.
We have guests from lunchtime tomorrow through to boxing day so REALLY need to clean and get the spare rooms ready.

Dh is working today so it is me and the two teenagers. Ds is in bed sick with some kind of monstrous cold. Dd and I are painting a picture of my brothers wedding venue(he got married a few months ago) as a gift for him and his new wife. We are both quite arty so it's a nice way to spend the day and my brother is so loaded that it's hard to think of something to buy him that wouldn't just be an inferior version of something he could buy for himself. Oh I have to bake some brownies too because I'm going to try and do that brownie yule log thing that's all over the Internet this year.

Tomorrow my brother is calling around for a bit then we will probably just eat and be merry. Watch a movie, play some boardgames maybe?

Annoyingly wide awake from 5am.

Was in Waitrose carpark for 7:20 for a 7:30 opening for the last few fresh bits, mostly milk and fruit. By the time I was leaving at 7:50 the carpark (it's not massive, maybe 70 spaces) was already full.
Came home and got a couple of bits out of the garage freezer for tomorrow.
Made a strawberry and peach jelly.
Made up the bed in the spare room as my mum is coming for a few nights from tomorrow, also spot-cleaned the rug in there, but it didn't really make any difference. It's on the mental list of things to replace in the new year.
Cleaned the main bathroom. Decided the ensuite could wait until after Christmas.
Hoovered all of downstairs.
Mopped the kitchen and hallway.

The kitchen sides are pretty well covered with bowls/plates, and need a wipe-down. I'll load the dishwasher after dinner, then wipe down the sides before I go to bed.

Tomorrow we're in full Christmas mode! No more chores beyond cooking and manning the dishwasher until probably the 28th! That's when all the family obligations will be over, and we'll enter full slob mode until the new year.

Went out today to do some “last minute” shopping in Aldi and somehow spent over £70 🙄 Spending the rest of today watching Christmas films, wrapping and a bit of baking.

Working tomorrow until lunchtime and then out for my niece’s birthday meal at an Italian restaurant.

Working (normal office hours - but from home) today and same again tomorrow but will log off about 3pm.

Feeling poorly though - nausea, wishy tummy, head ache, chills. So hoping I don't end up actually ill.

Today I’ve had a lovely lazy day watching Christmas food tv and doing the odd bits of housework here and there. Me and DH may go to the pub later (no kids). Tomorrow we’ll drive to my parents and are going out for lunch with them. Then probably meeting friends for more drinks, but one of them isn’t feeling well so if that plan fails we’ll stay home with my parents and watch a film or something instead.

Shopping and cleaning today.
Tomorrow, more last minute cleaning, visit my parents graves, and carol service.

Working. It’s insanely busy. Wondering if my husband will tolerate me working late tonight.

but have managed to get all the school uniforms wash, dried and away (while waiting for the kettle to boil while making tea and on lunch) and finished my final wrapping

DD will be home from her friends soon then going to SILs for tea and family secret Santa swap, tomorrow prepping all the veg for hosting on Xmas day when I get home before building the Santa gifts for DC after bedtime

Chill day today, some Christmas crafts with the kids then a film. Oh and the obligatory tantrums!

Tomorrow going for a walk with friends in the morning and then hopefully another chill afternoon.

We live a very busy life normally, Christmas is as much about relaxing and having family time to us than it is anything else.

Will you be ok if it’s negative? I remember TTC and waiting to take tests, it’s so hard not to feel gutted with BFNs, will it ruin your Christmas? I’d be inclined to wait until Boxing Day at least if you think you’ll be upset!

Today -still have lots of cleaning to finish. Tomorrow morning bake 2 dozen mince pies, tomorrow afternoon a 2pm and 4pm church service. Tomorrow evening prep the veg and wrap the last few gifts. Tomorrow night church services at 8pm and 11:30 pm.

Cleaning/tidying tidy then friends coming round tonight.
Tomorrow will be wrapping presents, baking with DC2, friends coming round in the afternoon and various family dropping in at different times.

I've done some cleaning and washing, DP is at the supermarket, god knows what for as we've got everything then. DD9 is watching the grinch older DD's are in their rooms. We're going to the panto tonight.
Tomorrow I'll be the cleaning I don't get done today whilst DP drives to collect his mum for Christmas

At the moment I'm chilling watching Wallace and Gromet while the ham cooks. DD2 was supposed to be home late today (lives in London) but she now can't as she's working tomorrow, so will be home tomorrow evening. So the meatball pasta I was going to do tonight, I'll do tomorrow. DH is currently in Scotland visiting his elderly dad. I'm making sausage rolls tomorrow too. I had intended on cleaning bathroom too but tbh it looks reasonably clean and I can't be arsed! 😁

Youngest son has just left.Not seen him for a while as he works evenings in hospitality.

Eldest son on his way to help with an Asda shop. Most was short dated at the weekend.
It's just him and I for Christmas Day and we're having party food, cheeses etc.

Today I am.rage cleaning... and stopping the gannits I live with from eating rhe chrimbo food.

Christmas food shop this morning, I've been tidying up, wrapping presents, just watched Christmas bake off. My DD is shopping for her Xmas pressie plus with her grandma plus lunch out. My DSs have been playing Lego which is unheard of these days for my 16 year old! Soon we'll go for a dog walk and stop at a lovely outdoor cafe for a mulled wine. Then home for chicken tacos!

Quick shop in Tescos this morning followed by a sit in a cafe coffee for me, some kind of ridiculous frappe and cake for DD.

Stopped in at the park on the way home to burn off some energy then crafting, a movie and cooked some biscuits today ready for decorating tomorrow.

I'm about done for the day now though, would love a nap but when I mentioned it DD rolled her eyes and moaned about being left to her own devices on Xmas eve eve. She's 10 so perfectly capable of entertaining herself for an hour but it still made me feel guilty enough that I've stayed conscious 😀

Cleared my work stuff from the dining room, went out for lunch, done a few loads of washing, went to buy Christmas wine (our usual christmas treat bottle has gone up to £29!!), wrapped the dogs presents, think we'll do board games and baileys tonight
