For telling some -dimwit-- fellow poster that pregnancy tests are not reliable indicator of pregnancy 4 days after you wee on them and that the reason its yellow is because it's full of dried piss..

Also that the only way to describe a 'metalic' taste in your mouth is to say its tastes unsurprisingly of metal.

Banned from a mothering message board.. i am semi embarassed !

babydancing......i prefer hide the sausage....

HelloBeastie · 01/05/2008 16:23

Well, this squabbling is terribly immature.

I'm off to another thread to talk about how much money I've got.

TinkerbellesMum · 01/05/2008 16:23

I have to admit I do use Hun quite a bit, but I am a Brummy and it's quite common around here for people to use endearments to pretty much anyone.

My understanding of this thread was WorzselMummage posted about being kicked and the reason she was. Other people have posted about being kicked from other sites, why they like this one etc. THEN it descended into a "war". I didn't think anyone was really commenting on the poster from the other site in particular.

minouminou · 01/05/2008 16:23

i've got loads of better things to do, thing is, they're boring, so i'm skiving

kaylzhaigh
its not the fact that we can do anything or the fact that it makes much of a difference but the fact that u are hiding behind sum silly nickname...
thinkng u are all tht when all u are is a silly pathetic bully!!

I so want to call my next daughter Kaylzhaigh.

Chuffinnora · 01/05/2008 16:24

Or perhaps, eeyore1974 you might return to your preferred website.

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:25

Isn't eeyore a bit of an immature name for a 34 year old?

Chuffinnora · 01/05/2008 16:27

Freddy you are only guessing that the 74 relates to the year of her birth. It could be any number of things, her house number, her number of children, her IQ.

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:27

Hmmm, yes, using your real name on a ttc board is a fab idea. Then if your work colleagues google you they'll be able to know all about what kind of cervical mucus you're experiencing that day...

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 16:27

Tinkerbellsmum i think calling the op from bounty a dimwit is commenting on someone in particular......

just let me read that 2 mak sure i splt it wrht

BanMe · 01/05/2008 16:27

Ahhh tinker i was gooing to ask her on Bounty if that was actually her real name but i couldnt remember how to spell it when i changed pages.

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:27

PSMSL chuffin.

bergentulip · 01/05/2008 16:28

I'm not taking the time to log all my details into Bounty, but I personally would rather have a silly nickname than open myself up to, on a small scale, being recognised by people I know in RL (just cos it would really defeat the point of ananymously asking for advice on personal matters)--
and on a larger scale - I don't want to be helping the government build up little pictures of everybody, across the web of information already listed somewhere, nat ins no.s, bank details, addresses, bla bla bla.... or identity fraudsters! - Same reason I don't use facebook et al., post any photos or personal information on my profile, also why I won't get a supermarket loyalty card. But then, maybe I'm just a bit of a conspiracy theorist(!)

Or, I am just hiding behind it so I can bully people
fwiw- I have not made a personal comments about any bounty members, or got specific.... until just now.

honeybehappy · 01/05/2008 16:28

I think this is all very funny but then i'm very bored and very sad.

Fullmoonfiend · 01/05/2008 16:28

We've been accused of 'thinking we're all that becuase we hide behind some silly nickname.''

I'm not hiding begind some silly nickname. This is my real name

vicky1985 · 01/05/2008 16:29

Or can you not answer that?

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:30

Vicky, love, it wasn't a question. You need to phrase it as one and add a question mark if you want a response.

Rhubarb · 01/05/2008 16:31

Oh look. A group of Mumsnetters go over to another site and cause trouble, then gloat about it on Mumsnet, and yet this thread is allowed to stay!

Any comments MNHQ?

Hardly in the spirit of Mumsnet is it?

It's threads like these that make me think Mumsnet deserves it's bad reputation. You might not like those other parenting sites, but what is it to you? You're on this site, so what do you care what they call each other and how they talk?

Remember school? When some kids from other schools would come and make trouble at yours? Sound familiar?

This thread was deliberately started to cause trouble.

BanMe · 01/05/2008 16:31

Is is a bit idiotic to think that a pregnancy tesst you have kept for 4 days and that only tuned 'positive' yesterday is actually positive though isnt it, i mean whatever way you look at it thats slightly strange.

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:32

Nobody from here went over to their site, they came over here.

Pay attention.

minouminou · 01/05/2008 16:33

actually, that's a bit funny - it got spotted by bounty PDQ, no?

FreddysTeddy · 01/05/2008 16:33

And why the hell shouldn't the OP be allowed to discuss her experiences on here? Should we all shut up in case someone from Bounty happens to be watching?

TinkerbellesMum · 01/05/2008 16:34

Right, so the whole thing about this thread being disgusting and nasty blah blah blah is because one person posted one word?

I got to go, as much as I'm loving this!

Rhubarb · 01/05/2008 16:34

Doesn't read that way from the beginning FreddysTeddy. Others went over there, then came back on here and took the piss out of them.

And you are calling who immature?

Vicki and the rest of you from other sites. I apologise. Not all Mumsnetters are like this at all.
