To ask what gift card to give a 12 year old boy. Surely there's one that's suitable and doesn't rely upon a love of TKMaxx and M&S

Just that. It shouldn't seem like an impossible task!

Smyth’s.

Who?

PCOSisaid · 19/12/2024 18:18

if we know what console they play we usually get a voucher for PlayStation or Xbox, we just had a birthday and we wasn’t sure if he was getting a PlayStation SS his main present, but do know he usually plays Xbox.

So we bought Amazon vouchers, which can be used for PlayStation or Xbox or just on something he wants

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 19/12/2024 18:18

Game?

TwixForTea · 19/12/2024 18:19

TwixForTea · 19/12/2024 18:19

Oh and near us is an arcade place! That does vouchers too

biscuitsandbooks · 19/12/2024 18:19

What's wrong with just giving cash?

OatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 19/12/2024 18:20

Our local shopping centre does a card for any shop or food outlet.

Bernadinetta · 19/12/2024 18:20

Roblox

MayaPinion · 19/12/2024 18:20

Cash. Kids love cash.

Isittimeformynapyet · 19/12/2024 18:18

Who?

It’s a toy shop

JimHalpertsWife · 19/12/2024 18:23

Just give cash. Easier for everyone.

Or a Playstation/X Box voucher.

LittleMosIron · 19/12/2024 18:25

Find out what his console of choice is. Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo eshop or steam if he is a PC gamer. Job done.

Hazeby · 19/12/2024 18:26

What’s he into?

Books? Sports? Gaming? Vouchers are available for all of these.

Maybe look in your local supermarket, they usually have an aisle-end with a big display of various gift cards.

ConflictofInterest · 19/12/2024 18:27

M&S so the parents can swap it for cash and get nice Christmas food with it? Or is that just me and my 12 year olds arrangement around vouchers from distant relatives?

Thewrongdoor · 19/12/2024 18:27

Give him cash. Much more sensible.

MyLoftySwan · 19/12/2024 18:28

I've just bought a nephew V bucks. Just ordered online at Amazon and printed off the vouchers. Popped them in a Christmas card. Think he uses it for the Switch but think it comes X-box also.
