@CatalinaLoo i just realised I quoted your post instead of someone else, sorry!

I too care very little about the RF in general, think the whole thing is a joke tbh. But these H&M threads do make me laugh, people feel just so strongly about everything they do, good or bad. You can feel the rage through the screen it’s hilarious. The whole family are a bunch of weirdos, including those who have married in. Not sure why H&M are so much worse than the others when one of them is a likely child abuser! It’s like a posh Jeremy Kyle Show 😂

Exactly - the heavily editing of this photo/use of AI is clear as day. So people will comment on it…oh well

It is a Christmas card. Not an official photo. The context is very different.

TheKeatingFive · 17/12/2024 16:57

It was a massive porker, the same as the other porkers they told in that interview.

I've asked about four times now, but what 'porkers' are you talking about?

UniqueOP · 17/12/2024 16:58

Lifeomars · 17/12/2024 16:47

I do not read any articles about them, my family and friendship group do not discuss them, I did not watch the Netflix thing they did, I did not read extracts of his book, let alone the actual tome. I am of course aware that they inflame passions, fill up the media with controversy and provide a living for all those "royal experts" and fill the tabloids with distracting stories but I just don't get the fever and the fury . It bemuses me, guess I need to get back under my rock...

Well, it's a bit silly to be all "Oh, what on earth have they done wrong?" when the news has been full of all the horrible things they've done. You can look it up, if you don't usually follow the goings-on of the world.

Viviennemary · 17/12/2024 16:58

UniqueOP · 17/12/2024 16:26

They said that the Archbishop of Canterbury had married them three days before their wedding, in their garden. The bishop said no, that's incorrect.

There's a list pf other things like that from the interview that you can look up, if you want.

Indeed. She lied.

UniqueOP · 17/12/2024 16:59

Viviennemary · 17/12/2024 16:58

Indeed. She lied.

That interview was full of porkers! And she can't be very bright if she thinks that lies about getting married wouldn't be immediately proven!

He did disprove Meghan's lie that he had married them before the wedding in their garden. He said "The legal wedding took place on the Saturday." Plus, in the C of E, you can't get married outside; it has to be in a church.

It was a massive porker, the same as the other porkers they told in that interview.

He also said:

“The legal wedding was on the Saturday. I signed the wedding certificate, which is a legal document, and I would have committed a serious criminal offence if I signed it knowing it was false.”

But Meghan didn't say they had a 'legal wedding' 3 days earlier, she said they had a 'union'.

A union could mean a personal, informal ceremony.

You just like to put the most uncharitable interpretation on it.

If William and Catherine had had a 'union' 3 days before their legal wedding, you'd be gushing about how romantic it is.

Nope, she said the words "we got married" when talking about how the bishop had "married" them three days before their wedding. That's why he answered and why the media covered it.

She probably meant in a sense personal to her.

Imagine still being mad about this four year after the fact 🤯

FloofPaws · 17/12/2024 17:11

@toucheee - Meghan is the queen of half truths and downright lies - if she told the time I would have to check - she said what people don't realise is we got married ... then the rest of the lie ... she's a manipulator / liar and bends anything to make her look whatever way she's trying to get things to look in her favour ... in this case I suspect it was 2 fingers up to the poor British public who paid for their wedding .. shame she's screwed everything she can out of the country/RF and anyone else unfortunate enough to be scammed by her

When your trying to refute facts like marriage and what it factually means to be actually be married with words like "Probably" then you have already lost the argument by making pathetic excuses. 🙄

God bless her, she probably needs to consult a lawyer every time she opens her mouth incase there's a slight danger that she doesn't express herself perfectly enough for the professionally offended.

You keep saying there are lots of lies, but you can only actually reference one.

That is not what she said.

Tbf lots of people say, we got married or had a wedding, when legally, they actually didn’t. Think in Islam as one example, but certainly I know many people who say they got married “married” abroad and do the legal bit in the Uk and don’t class that as the wedding. Either way, the Archbishop said that they had “many private meetings” which he won’t discuss. He also didn’t say, perhaps purposefully, that they didn’t have some sort of ceremony in there back yard. I guess it’s a bit like Kate’s photo which they say wasn’t a “fake photo” but actually was a “fake photo”.

Anyway, back to the H&M hand wringing for those that enjoy it!

So a woman, you don't know, said she got married on a day when she actually got married on a different day and four years later, this is massively bothering you ... why exactly?
