Hey, listen, I get it. A significant ex of mine is Australian and there is just something about the way he talks that makes my head swim, it's just so incredibly hot to me. On the rare occasions that I've since talked to him I can barely register all the reasons that the relationship didn't work through how he sounds and looks. At the end of the day, there's nothing wrong with fancying an ex. They were obviously attractive enough to date, and attraction doesn't have to stop just because cohabitation didn't work out.

Wouldn't act on it though, if he is indeed a twat.

I think there's some sort of inverse 'hot man - ugly accent' graph to be drawn here. The hotter the man, the hotter the unattractive accent he has is. The more unattractive the accent is, the hotter the man using it has to be for the accent to be hot. Although there has to be a tipping point - past a certain level of hot accent, any man's use of it is elevated in hotness.

Only you know the answer to this! How does he feel, why did you split up? It's quite common for exes to have a post get together, not saying it's the right thing to do, but it happens a lot. All depends if he hurt you and you're trying to move on etc x

A very long time ago, I went with an acquaintance to see a specialist vet for her nutty dog. He was tall and had the poshest OxBridge accent (which was lost on her as an American) and I was ready to strip off. I knew that her dog was in the best hands but she didn't realise how good.

In a similar vein, male friends I've never fancied put on reading glasses, look over their noses and then I'm jelly. OR play a musical instrument like a boss and I'm ready to go home with them.
