…are scummy scruffy tramps?

Same goes for vaping in any other indoor public space which is non smoking. Are they so stupid to think it’s actually allowed? Or are they just belligerent skanks who have no sense of respect for anyone else?

It’s grim enough walking into those stinky poison clouds outside but at least they’re outdoors but inside- eugh it’s just rough.

rant over 😏

YANBU. Selfish, scummy pricks. I’ve seen it in children’s play centres!. I challenge them or tell a member of staff

Honestly it beggars belief that people are so stupid and arrogant to think it’s appropriate. So rough.

I’ve seen innumerable people vaping where it’s not permitted. Pubs, shops, buses, doctor surgeries. The general theory seems to be that because it’s not an actual cigarette that they can do what they like with it.

Not going to lie, I’m not a fan. The garish colours and flavours are pure children’s marketing, the massive clouds of vapour aren’t necessary, and they’re just as anti-social as what they’re meant to replace. That’s without taking into account the migraine and asthma triggers. If I never have to encounter a miasma of synthetic vanilla and candy floss again I will be a happy person.

I'm surprised the flight attendants didn't come down hard on the vapers TBH.

It is always very clear that you can't vape on flights.

I've never seen anyone vaping in shops etc, but I have in pubs. Earlier this year, I was in a pub and there were people vaping. Apparently, it's at the landlord's discretion, I had no idea.

The 2007 smoking ban doesn’t include e-cigarettes, which don’t contain tobacco and don’t have the same harmful effects as conventional cigarettes. But the smoking ban is now widely accepted, and the sight of what may at first glance appear to be cigarette smoke in a pub may be met with disapproval.

Vaping in pubs is not illegal; there are no specific laws or restrictions on vaping indoors.

Agree, they’re not very nice - what the appeal is I’ll never know, but there are vapers who use them in appropriate places so I’m not going to judge them it’s their choice- marketing them towards young people though is a shameful travesty.

Yes, the Government is supposed to be restricting flavours and colours, which the manufacturers claim - quite implausibly - are not aimed at children. Bright dayglo colouring, bubble gum, strawberry & raspberry flavours certainly are aimed at children.

What I think vaping highlights because it makes it visible, is just how far the breath spreads from the body once exhales. The reality is we are all walking through clouds of other people's breath. You just can't see it. Certainly makes it understandable how COVID spread as rampantly as it did.
