I really don't understand @RobertaFirmino response? how uneducated can you be be to say 'waving his willy' didn't result in WW2: 6 million dead - from just one ethnic group - millions of others killed, years of rationing, targeted bombing of civilians, deplorable treatment of Prisoners of War, loans from the US which the UK have just paid back, Merchant Seamen gambling with their lives to ensure the UK didn't starve and so much more.

Tbh, I can't see the point in worrying about a war or stockpiling 'a few days food' as was suggested on a thread yesterday.

If it happens, it happens. Worrying about it will.make absolutely no difference to whether it does or not. And, if it doesn't, think of all that mental.energy and time you'll have spent worrying about it.

We have no idea about the reality of the situation, and even if we did, we can do absolutely nothing about it, so no point worrying.

Russia haven't even been able to take Ukraine, how long have they been there now?! Their power is massively overstated, I'm more worried about their cyber influence rather than their quite poor armed forces.

1002 days ago people on here were saying Russia would never invade Ukraine and it was just “Willy Waving” yet here we are 1001 days later. I think people naive to think Putin doesn’t have bigger plans than just Ukraine.

Who exactly do you think he's going to attack? The UK? The US? Finland? If he was going to attack even Finland he'd have got in there before they joined NATO like he did with Ukraine. He hasn't had any real kind of victory in Ukraine yet and that's been going on 3 years, why would he start spreading himself more thinly? He doesn't want Europe and he doesn't want a war with Europe, he just wants to hark back to the glory days of the USSR and show The West that they can't just take over the whole world.

There’s no point in worrying about it either way. Is anyone starts chucking nukes about we are all toast guaranteed and not much you can do about that. The more likely outcome is more underhanded stuff like cables being cut, leaders dying under weird circumstances, toilet roll panics etc

If Putin’s aim is world domination there doesn’t seem much point in obliterating it. Be nothing left to dominate. That’s how I see it
