Just that, why would you risk it? Our company has recently changed wfh policy to 4 days in the office, however as I don't want to take the risk of driving iv been wfh past couple of days and wondered if/why people are going in? Do they feel the need to look good and be present in the office?

I think it's because those who can't wfh have to make extra adjustments to make it into work and just do it. Could you imagine emergency services halting? No, because they have to and will get into work. Not snarkey, just realistic and yes indeed of course they will scoff at oh should I have to go outside in this terrible weather.

Exactly this! We just to get up earlier, deal with the conditions and be careful. We don't want to do it but don't have a choice so the post about oh do i really need to go in to a warm office does goad for us.
