I think you would be surprised at how big Hedgehog poo is. We have no foxes where we live and were trying to work out what was pooing on our lawn....

We have hedgehogs and a night vision camera, but at most, their poo is thinner and shorter than my little finger. Maybe you do have giant ones in your garden 😆

The fox poo we get in our garden varies by what the foxes have been eating. We see them by day so can identify their poos. We also get cats and hedgehogs - hedgehog poos quite small, cat ones smaller than foxes but with definite cat crap odour.

I'd recommend putting out a trail camera overnight, they record when something moves in front of them so you just get videos or still shots of the birds and animals you have visiting. It's so interesting even without the poo ident! But I'd want to know if it was a neighbour's dog for sure

For anyone concerned- my hand is hovering over the grass.. no where near touching it! 😂

We had a toy breed dog up till last year,he was 4kg at his heaviest, often a lot less, and his poos were absolutely enormous! If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. We used to have cats, they don't always bury,we caught nextdoors cat pooing in the greenhouse. Yup around £30 wildlife camera from Amazon!
