if i pick up one more magazine to see some z list " celeb" gushing about how they lost their 20 stone of baby fat in just 20 mins after giving birth i will SCREAMMMMMMM. If i had personal trainers , diaticians, personal shoppers and make up artists fawning after me, i could probably scrub up ok. But, heres the clincher! I would rather be spending time kissing cuddlying me little snuggly baba, not spending 3 hours in a gym munching mung beans!!! Im going to go and have some hob nobs( chocky ones)

Often wondered about Jordan / Katie and bf-ing. I'm clearly sick.

suey2 · 25/04/2008 16:25

cod i want to make myself feel better for still being a stone overe my pre PG weight. Every time i try and cut down my eating, the milk supply reduces. DD is 4 months old and exclusively BF. I have actually been curious about this- lasst night i went out and couldn't get a single pre PG top over my huge tits

claireybee · 25/04/2008 16:28

Can you shove a cream cake down my face please

poodlepusher · 25/04/2008 16:29

YANBU but I would save the cream cakes for me, why waste them on someone who could buy the whole bakery?

SandyDennyWasAGreatSinger · 25/04/2008 16:32

why is it good, cod?

losing weight=good?

dal21 · 25/04/2008 16:37

YANBU. It isnt normal / realistic for the majority of women to lose weight that quickly.

suey - bfeed to your hearts content, eat healthy but dont compromise your milk supply. There is plenty of time to lose the weight.

madmuggle · 25/04/2008 16:37

I'm a yummy mummy... I think everything looks yummy so pounce on it and eat it before it has chance to get away

why buy those crap rags for magazines, though?

i've lost a stone already. i'm 13 weeks pregnant.

ALL food now turns me off and i have a huge hurl at least once a day.

i'm really hungry, too.

but it all revolts me.

Nero · 25/04/2008 21:41

YANBU. They are all fakes. my friend used to work as a MW at The Portland. She said that the celebs would pose for pics leaving the hospital, then baby would head off in one car and they would head off in other - to go for intense surgical treatments or fitness training and often wouldn't see their babies again until 3 weeks later for the OK photoshoots. My friend had to do the post natal checks on the babies and mums so she knew they were living apart

bubblebathgirl · 25/04/2008 22:23

first post hi all (grin) My Dad says all new mum's should at at least 1 cream slice a day for at least first 6 weeks as he is a Dad to 3 girls there-fore an expert in new mum's and bun scoffing (grin) i love my dad

i think a great many of them lie about breastfeeding their children, too.

I will let you into a little secret. I had my last son at a famous private maternity hospital (where all the celebrities go including me!) I had a vist from one of the nurses who gave me some exercises to do the day after the birth (as if!.) She told me that most celebrities giving birth have a c section for a very good reason - when they are being stitched up they have a tummy tuck at the same time.

squeaver · 03/05/2008 18:10

Rocky12 - that is true, told to me by an anaesthitist who worked there.

scottishmummy · 03/05/2008 18:16

imo myleene klass was the ultimate annoying schleb mummy always braying on about her wonderful life etc

Janni · 03/05/2008 18:25

I would be seriously concerned if there was a message sent out that the smaller the baby bump the better. That could lead to some serously malnourished babies.

TsarChasm · 03/05/2008 18:33

I like the ones that twitter on about 'just loving homemaking' and giggling 'I even like doing housework and getting everything nice for when 'he' comes home' like it's a game. Which it is to them

VictorianSqualor · 03/05/2008 18:36

I've got many a friend who lost their baby weight within weeks, they're just naturally built that way, plus they didn't scoff up on ice cream (a la VS when the sickness finally paused at about 6 months) and ate sensibly both before PG and after birth, my eating habits left a lot to be desired, plus I got HUGE during PG and I've already lost a good deal of weight, I'm pretty bloody happy to be wearing size 16 jeans only two weeks after a CS and a 10lb 3oz baby coming out me thanks, and I notice my clothes are getting loser every day, some peopel are lucky, some arent, I bet a lot of these slebs don't have too much to lose anyway, they're still a size six, just size six and pg, whereas if (liek me) you were a 14 before pregnancy you can't expect to possibly be a size six after..

expatinscotland · 03/05/2008 18:38

i lost mine pretty quickly after birth both times.

BUT i swelled horribly with both and a lot of it was water weight.

i also had PND and it killed my appetite.

FreddysTeddy · 03/05/2008 18:38

Slightly o/t here but on the subject of WAGs I read an interview with "SAHM" Alex Curran the other day. She described her busy day which began with dropping the kids at nursery in the AM and collecting them at 3PM. Her youngest is one

What does she do all day?

expatinscotland · 03/05/2008 18:39

applies makeup with a trowel and gets fake tanner sprayed on, FT.

VictorianSqualor · 03/05/2008 18:39

Her nails.
