Between boobs sweat itch

I have had this for a while and I should have acted sooner but I didn't. Anyway I have been using canesten clotrimazole for two weeks now but online I have read it can take up to 4 weeks to go away. Has anyone ever had it this long before and had to use the cream for that long? There is no rash, just itchy and worse when it's sweaty, until I exercise and then a red blotchy rash appears

wibu to use it for four weeks or more? I need this annoying itch gone!!!

I get this annoying sweaty boob situation. When I get a rash I put sudocream on- works a treat, gone in a couple of days!

MrsToothyBitch · 22/10/2024 20:10

I use sudocream too.

Panda8383 · 22/10/2024 20:11

Another one for sudocrem 👌

ExtraOnions · 22/10/2024 20:12

Medicated talc … Cutacura or the like (I use the Home Bargains one)

AngryBird6122 · 22/10/2024 20:13

sudocrem really? how often please. Is it anti fungal? I am desperate! Should I stop using the canesten? AAAAAH!

Sudocream also works for me, as per PP.
My DH a sportsman, says that the anti dandruff shampoo nizeral is good if the blotches are hanging around for a bit as it can be a sign of yeast overgrowth. Apply for a couple of mins and then rinse off thoroughly in the shower. Then follow up with sudocream.
I also use one of the non talc deodorising body powders. Big boobs = sweaty cleavage.

AngryBird6122 · 22/10/2024 20:13

So the blotch only comes when I work out. Other than that it's just the itch

I get this every summer for months, the cream works for a while and then it comes back. It only stops fully when the weather gets colder. I found it helps by washing twice daily, only wear a bra when absolutely necessary, let air get to them as much as possible and avoid anything irritating like perfume on the area. A smudge of Vaseline or powder can help avoid any sweat clinging to your skin too.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 22/10/2024 20:30

Another vote for sudocream.

Sunnysal · 22/10/2024 20:33

I really suffer with this in the summer. I cut flannels in half and put them in my bra. I change them several times a day and use the athletes foot spray....not cream

twiddlingthumbs69 · 22/10/2024 20:34

Daktarin gold. The only thing that works for me

NutellaEllaElla · 22/10/2024 20:34

Try anti persperant, the same as you use on your armpits, sounds weird but works super well for me in the summer.

AngryBird6122 · 22/10/2024 20:42

Thanks for all the tips. It's really getting me down :(

I use this during summer amzn.eu/d/jc3x8dU

DeliciousApples · 23/10/2024 09:53

I was thinking you might want to put a hankie or tissue in there to soak up the sweat. Secured by the under band of the bra pressing on it. It could just be a sweat rash.

BertieBotts · 23/10/2024 10:02

There are bra sweat liners you can buy on Amazon. They work really well. I use them in summer. In winter I go braless whenever possible!

It's not medication caused for me. I just seem to sweat easily

AngryBird6122 · 23/10/2024 10:13

@OttersAreMySpiritAnimal how often does he use the Nizarol? Thank you

Yep. That's my go-to, as well.

Yep. That's my go-to, as well.

@ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews ive ordered some for once it’s cleared up. Do you use it daily?

OP posts:
ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews · 23/10/2024 10:44

Yeah i do, it's mild, but effective. It has zinc oxide in it like Metanium does, but it's not as messy.

Best of luck. 👍🏻 You'll be grand.

@OttersAreMySpiritAnimal how often does he use the Nizarol? Thank you

Once a day when the itch flares up, it normally sorts it within a few days. He'll use as a preventative once a week.

LoafofSellotape · 23/10/2024 11:04

Have you tried hydrocortisone? I would expect Canesten to have started working a bit by now.

ChequerToRed · 23/10/2024 11:06

If it hangs around too long, especially if you’re already using over the counter treatments, get it looked at by your GP. I thought I just had a yeast infection, used all the usual creams etc, but it just wouldn’t go. Turned out I had a mild bacterial skin infection that needed prescription antibiotic cream.
