I have had this for a while and I should have acted sooner but I didn't. Anyway I have been using canesten clotrimazole for two weeks now but online I have read it can take up to 4 weeks to go away. Has anyone ever had it this long before and had to use the cream for that long? There is no rash, just itchy and worse when it's sweaty, until I exercise and then a red blotchy rash appears

wibu to use it for four weeks or more? I need this annoying itch gone!!!

Have you got correctly fitting bras? Are you washing them daily and wearing clean bras daily? I've got huge boobs HH cup and have been huge size 20 until recently (thanks mounjaro) and have never had this issue, my bras lift my boobs up nicely so they dont get sweaty. I use Mitchum deodorant it's the only one that works and I never have sweaty boobs.

I occasionally get a sore red rash under my breasts, worse during summer. After gently washing and drying the areas thoroughly, I place a folded mansize tissue under each boob. It stops it from getting worse, and allows the skin to stay dry so it can heal. Cheap and effective. Can be replaced as often as necessary. Would go between your boobs in your case!

@ChequerToRed thanks I’ll see gp if the nixarol doesn’t work -there’s nothing to see though it’s just really itchy!

@loaf yes I used daktacort for a week first and it got better but not gone - but I did leave it a little long before starting tbh

@Itsmahoneybaloney yep measured properly and I have good hygiene anyway but have been extra extra good since this started. They are a H cup. But it’s not the underneath it’s the in between. Never had a problem with the underneath funny enough

What kind of bras have you got? Maybe you need one that separates a bit rather than pushing up and together? Maybe visit a local decent bra shop and check out some other types.

@DeliciousApples I’ve pretty much always got a tissue Down there 🫤 it normally helps but this time the itch just won’t f off

I had this for YEARS, and canestan just didn't do anything. It was ALWAYS sweaty and itchy and getting worse. I bought a pot of antifungal cream from Amazon (the kind that you assume the reviews are all fake!) and it went within about 3 days. No itch and stopped being sweaty. I realised it hadn't actually been sweaty, but it was the fungal infection causing it to be moist.

I've since switched to bras with a much higher cotton content and no issue since. I can't believe I put up with it for so long.

coupd Be an idea. I’m sure you’ll empathise with how hard it is to find a comfy bra at this size bust!!

Just looked back through my orders...

Antifungal Cream, Anti Fungal Skin Cream, Ringworm Cream for Adults, Treatment for Jock Itch, Eczema, Tinea Versicolor, Athletes Foot 3.4 oz https://amzn.eu/d/7S9kZtU

It seems to be out of stock or discontinued. There was another similar brand I was trying to decide between. I just looked for antifungal creams with a good amount of reviews, and average score of over 4.0.

It seems this is the same companies alternative, but obviously there's other brands.
Charmpoo Athletes Foot Treatment, Antifungal Cream, Anti Fungus Skin Cream Extra Strength, Athletes Foot Cream, Ringworm Antifungal Cream, Fast Relief Jock Inch & Fungal Infections(1pack) 30g https://amzn.eu/d/8HtBQ13

Another one for sudocrem here. I get this so often, if I fail to use sudocrem and I end up itching my skin raw, I then use germolene-heals it up pretty fast. Don’t you just love all our female curses 🤣

ForPearlViper · 23/10/2024 14:28

What makes you think it is fungal? It could just be a heat/sweat rash, particularly if using an antifungal isn't clearing it up and it's worse when you are hot after exercising. I don't think a fungal rash would come up and go down like that.

Have a google for heat/sweat rash or even for prickly heat.

It's there all the time, the itch, when I work out then it comes up red and blotchy. There is no rash there the rest of the time... I see what you mean, I did think that sweat rash was fungal though, or caused a fungal thing

Fungal rashes are often biggish circles and they don't appear and disappear.

I know a little about it because, some years ago, I saw the doctor about a mysterious rash I had on my stomach. Circles of raised itchy flesh in a vertical row. I was prescribed an antifungal which didn't work. Next time I went we worked out what it was. It was the buttons on my 501 jeans. I had developed a nickel allergy!

AngryBird6122 · 29/10/2024 12:07

Excuse the photos lol
i dont care
so this is how it looks after sweating (just had a hot bath) feels like sandpaper. Rest of the time doesn’t really look like anything.
