The thought of parking in a multi storey without power steering is a bit daunting.

I'd argue your driving skills are massively improved without the modern technology. Drum brakes mean you need to plan to stop well in advance and same with the steering, you know its going to take a bit more effort to get around that roundabout etc. Observational skills are boosted because you need to be alert and watching everything.

FWIW in the mog multi storey car parks were fine, you get used to it.
