How much you put in your savings?

I put 10% of my net salary, so £300 each month in my savings account.
It feels very little but this is all I can afford at the moment. Just trying to gauge what others might put away?

I’d love if I could save £700-800 a month but recently single, having to put for everything on my own and salary is only £50k

I am very very lucky that I have a good salary and currently relatively low costs, so I am putting just over 50% away. But I have a savings habit that goes back to my earliest days of work once I left education - putting £5 per week from my £80 a week cheque into the credit union at work as a salary sacrifice- a habit that has paid off over the years and I still continue for part of my savings. But I now have other accounts as well.
