To think my neighbours are taking the piss?

Ignore my (broken) bin but it does nicely mark the end of my driveway. Maybe I’m just too much of a people pleaser but I would never place a skip on the side of the road and allow rubbish to fall from it on my neighbours side, and have stuff on the pavement.

They are very new neighbours too so it’s not going well for first impressions and its been like this for 3 days. They’ve seen it.

Also I know other people are cheeky and dump stuff, but when I had a skip mine had a lid on it to prevent this. Regardless, my skip, my responsibility.

I've rarely seen a skip with a lid.

(isn't the old joke that a skip with a lid is a Skoda?)

Ha, ha. Born in Communist Czechoslovakia.
But you're right!

Is the bush where your boundary starts?

If so really the skip should be further over their property.

The neighbours may not have been home when the skip was delivered so the fact it is slightly overlapping your drive is most likely the fault of the skip company rather than your neighbour 'taking the piss'

As long as you can get your car on and off your drive then it's not worth getting worked up about

Hopefully it will be collected in a couple of days

OP, is the wicker thing theirs or yours?
