Stew meat was left out all night

At relatives house and they have stew..... However they did the first phase of the stew last night by boiling the meat last night and left it on the stove. Today they added veggies and reheated/cooked veg in the stew.

Aibu in not eating it

If it's been left covered, and reheated until piping hot, absolutely fine.

I’d eat it, that weather has got cold so the meat probably stayed cold unless they had the heating on all night.

Slow cooker is between 170 °F (76.7 °C) and 280 °F (137.8 °C).
Danger zone is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C), for more than two hours

So many people getting sick cause they are too fussy. Not enough germs getting through you.

Yes, but it's starting from a position of zero bacteria. Any that were there will have been killed when it was cooked. So it will take a very long time for bacteria to colonise it, particularly if its covered, and then start multiplying, and then get to a dangerous level.

I leave food out all the time because I forget to put it in the fridge after it’s cooled and it sits there until morning. I heat it up and eat it without hesitation later. I’ve been known to leave a pan of soup on the cooker for 24 hours and eat it although it’s probably not so risky without meat in it.

I’ve only ever had food poisoning once in my life and that was from mozzarella that had been stored in the fridge!

Yeah, you'd probably be fine, but why est unsafe food?

Absolutely fine, No issues.

As others have said, what do you think people did before fridges? We aren’t in the middle of a heat wave or anything which may change things. And no one is vulnerable for any reason. Absolutely fine.

If it was reheated fully to boiling temperature then it should be fine. But it's true that food is much more likely to be affected by pathogens, bacteria etc if it's at room temperature.
I would probably still eat it tbh.

If it was cooked, and left covered over night it will be fine, no bacteria will have got into it, so cannot multiply to become dangerous. If it was left uncovered or contaminated with something dirty after it was cooked bacteria may have got in and multiplied, it might be OK if reheated to very hot but I wouldn't fancy it.
