Not really an AIBU as I'm not the unreasonable one.

I didn't even try and get Oasis tickets yesterday, but I'm annoyed for those (including friends) who had an appalling experience with ticketmaster. It seems it was pre planned to kick people off, accuse of being bots when only one device being used etc.

What concerns me is the dynamic pricing. I know they've been subtly doing it for a long time, but if they can so publicly expose themselves to doing this with such a sought after tour, and get away with it, is this possibly the beginning of the end for big band tours?

Could the introduction of a new ticket system be possible do you think?

Yes ticket suppliers could do more but the fans are also at fault, if the fans didn't feed the touts there would be no market. It's a choice to play stupid prices for tickets same as food inside events, if noone bought it they wouldn't charge it.

You make you choices you pay the prices.

At most gigs you can only take a small A4 sized bag and you’re told in advance no food allowed in.

If it’s a big event, say doors open at 4, support acts from 5 or 6, headliner at 9, show ends at 11… you have to buy food in there. You can’t really ‘make your choice’ and take your custom elsewhere.

How many of you have Spotify (or similar)
How many buy shirts at primark, HMV, EMP rather than official website?
How many have ever crowd funded a band?

The band have chosen to sell rights to Primark to make a t shirt that's on them.

Oh are you one of these cinemas are expensive because I have to buy all the food.

Nope you don't have to buy food you can eat before you go, it's simply a choice to pay overinflated prices, don't complain about it.

Absolutely not, I’m ‘one of those’ smuggle snacks into the cinema every time. But that’s only a couple of hours out. If you’re in a stadium for 7 hours you’re pretty much stuck with not eating or having to buy inside sadly.
I wasn’t complaining about it, simply pointing out that it isn’t a choice. Eat beforehand by all means but 7 hours plus with not even a snack isn’t realistic.
