Dislocated little toe...anyone work in A and E?

Managed to stub my wee toe this morning
Wee toe sitting at 45 degree angle to other toes...pretty sure it's dislocated.

I'm currently lying down with foot elevated
..bandaged and strapped to other toes

I phoned GP who said I'd need to go to a and e. Friends who have dislocated their toe before have said A and E will do nothing..
And will just tell me to do what I'm currently doing.

Any medics aabout who can advise, as I don't really want to sit in A and E for hours n hours to be told to just go home and do what you're lready doing?

Thank you

You are being unreasonable.....go to a and e

You are NOT being unreasonable......elevate foot, bandage it and strap it at home

I did when I was a child. Toe was at 90° to foot.

My aunties mum who was a nurse popped it back in in the middle of a campsite 😂

Never cause me any problems.

However if you don't think it's popped in and you are having to bandage it to the nground set toe to keep it straight then you need to see minor injuries or an and e.

Managed to get in n out of a and e in less than an hour......which is quite unbelievable

Anyway they didn't xray....just looked at it.

Said it was fine n sent me home after strapping it.

I was dreading going as I've sat there for at least 10 hours before so a good result all round
