The BBC are reporting non-news to divert viewers away from Huw Edwards and the Strictly Come Dancing scandal.

Even so GP was a big film star and CM was the lead in a big band.

Mollymae and Fury were not even soap stars.

I saw the breakup announced on Sky News and thought they were dead.

Molly Mae and Tommy are classed as quite big stars by lots of late teens and people in their early 20s, and the news is for those age groups too. I'm not a love island fan or into influencers at all but those 2 things are huge now so I'm not surprised it's on as breaking news, even though it's not something I'm interested in.

They always report this sort of thing. They made a huge thing of S club 7 doing a reunion tour which I'm sure most people weren't bothered about.

Tyson Fury Is famous because of the world titles he's won. He's a bloody good British boxer but unfortunately is held back by poor MH. Him and Tommy are very involved in Charities and have a particular interest in MH. He has a Traveler background, which is a minority that we are allowed to be discriminatory towards.

It's not an either or situation.

There is no need for "breaking news", it's a modern construct and some poor sod who works for the BBC is tasked with scraping the barrel for "breaking news" stories. All to keep the public hooked when of course they could survive without this information until tomorrow or never.

Plus celeb (if you can call them that) tittle tattle is not news at all.

I am now genuinely wondering how and when the news of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's divorces made the headlines? They were the biggest superstars in the world at the time (google if you've never heard of them )
