Anyone ever had weird stuff go on in their house?

In the last week, I've had two loaves of bread go missing from my house (one was in a delivery that I put in the cupboard, just mysteriously disappeared. Another my mum brought me to replace the other one, a loaf of sourdough. Randomly gone). Today I got up in the morning and found a scourer next to my sink. I don't use scourers. Never have. Weird weird weird!

Has anyone ever had something weird happen in their home and found a reasonable explanation for it?

@murmuration - The notice made a joke about the door being alarmed or at least a bit worried.

Truly!
Something similar happened a few years ago when I moved back in with my dear mum (who we tragically lost to covid).

Both of us woke up to a packet of biscuits opened and eaten, packet and crumbs were left on the kitchen counter.
The dishdrainer had been moved and the mop was in the middle of the kitchen, propped against the table (I've posted about this previously). Like the mop and jalapeños situation now, no understanding of how this could happen. No one had or has access, windows closed and small flats so easy to search.

I'm not spooked but maybe because the items are so random and slightly comical (I mean, who wants a jar of jalapeños or a manky mop)...more of a head scratcher 😬

Here's my weird one

DH and I were at my parent's house, he was painting their bedroom for them while I chatted to them downstairs. Our children were at school.

It got to the time where they were going to get home from school (by bus and taxi) but DH wasn't quite finished so he said he'd drive me home (10 minutes away) then go back to my parent's and finish, this is what he did.

I got home unlocked the door let myself in. 5 minutes later all the children came home, 2 youngest dds went in living room, teenage dd and ds went straight upstairs.

I started cooking the tea, while it cooked I was leaning up against the counter on my phone. When the tea was ready I put my phone down and dished up, called children and they grabbed their food and sat down with it eating. Then I sat with them at the table to chat.

Just then DH came in front door said can I borrow your phone I want to look something up (Ebay because he hasn't got the app) I was like yeah it's on the side and pointed, he said where? I got up rolling my eyes thinking I was just going to grab it..it was gone! Picked up tea towel, not underneath, checked pockets, chairs etc looked bloody everywhere! Said to ds ring my phone for me! He did, couldn't hear it ringing...totally confused couldn't believe it!

Anyway DH was like don't worry about it I'm going down the shed (bottom of the garden where he's allowed to smoke!).
He unlocked the back door went through it down to the shed.

I carried on looking for my phone just couldn't understand it was driving me mad!!

A minute later, DH came in the back door...found your phone!!

Where was it??

On the table in my shed!!

Wtf???? Can't explain it in any way, unbelievable. Too mundane to be made up! Not exactly a scary tale but so so weird. Have got many similar tales over the years, my family seems to be a magnet for stuff like this.

My sister and I have banned each other from saying this word out loud. We always say 'the P word'! 🤣
