Crikey. So people like this do exist then. Every now and then I hear about a BNP "person" being elected onto a council, or I overhear someone on a train, or I read the posts of someone like BloodyAngry and I am just so horrified.

My dear friend, of Eastern European origin, is working at her job in an A&E today. If your mum or sister was hurt, it would be her job to help save their life. But I suppose you'd rather they weren't treated by 'vermin'. In fact, all of your family should wear those little allergy bracelets to say that they are only to be treated by people who can trace their English ancestry back three generations. Since you don't want contact with immigrants, I think it's a reasonable precaution.

Vera - she can if she is using their colour/race as an identifier but really the only people it would make a difference to is the police.

Like SwiftyKnickers I work with someone who is racist. She says stuff like 'A big black man cut me up on the roundabout this morning' when there is no reason or need for her to even mention the persons colour. She also says 'I would rather my daughter marry a black man than live in sin witha white one' which I find just so awful it left me speechless.

Race aside I can see why the OP is very angry, and it is scary that crime seems to be so widespread.

My SIL had her bag snatched and it is very upsetting and a bother to sort out keys/cards and so on.

Yup Chequers. And quite apart from the abhorrent racism of BloodyAngry's posts, there's a pragmatic argument too. If all the Eastern Europeans left London the whole city would come grinding to a halt within hours of their departure.

I didn't come on here shouting the odds about 'those white English vermin' @Vera, and I would never have done so either, no matter what race the people who have perpetrated crimes against me in the past happened to be.

I had this problem with a friend of mine who lives in a very non mixed area and doesnt come into contact with many non white people. Unfortunately on a rare trip to London she was very unlucky and got mugged and punched in the face very hard by a black man. Her face was a real mess. Also when she was young her father was stabbed in the neck in a mugging in London again by a black man. She now has a fear of black men coming towards her. On one hand I condemn her for what can be construed as a racist fear but on the other I can sort of understand why she feels like that.

I am really sorry for what happened to your Mum and sister snatching her bag after she has given to them is very low indeed. When you calm down I hope you will see that people of all races commit despicable acts. I think you are angry and that is understandable for now.

Mrsmattie I was not attacking you, I was just wondering why it is seen as more acceptable to mention some races then others.
The people who robbed SIL were black, BIL had his car stolen they were white.
I think the OP has a point about crime and in some areas there are gangs of one race as opposed to others. I do how ever think it is a valued point (the crime side) badly put (the race aspect)

I think the point I was trying to make is that all races/nationalities - including those the OP might possibly feel more 'comfortable' with (ie. her own, I assume?) commit crime.

What race is the OPs mother? I see she said her mother was not born here (been reading whole thing now must learn to do that before jumping in)

Police have CCTV from the shop, and the vile vermin that took my mothers purse is known to them as being part of a gang that are Eastern European, so in this case it was someone of the afore mentioned race (as was yesterdays bag snatcher)

I have no problem with anyone in this country working hard and towing the line, I have a massive problem with people who come here and abuse it, and day after day we see this happen and we let it.
My mother was (as I said before) not born here but she has lived by the same rules as every body else and not myself nor my brothers or sister have ever mugged anyone.

Some people are vermin what ever their place of birth, and sadly my family have met too such vermin who happen to come from the same place over the last two days.

I totally disagree with you. I firmly believe that the police and courts will prosecute according to the evidence and regardless of the race of the perpetrator. We have fairly robust processes in place to make sure that this happens.

I think you are living in a fantasy world of your own making.
