To be annoyed that Twitter never takes action on reported tweets?

Over the last few days I’ve reported numerous blatantly racist and abusive tweets. Every single one has come back saying it’s not broken the rules. How? What on earth do you have to do to get them to take any action?

It’s a fucking cesspit since Musk took over.

I deleted twitter when musk took it over, the defining moment that I had to get rid of it was when I reported someone who posted the most vile and despicable lies about Jamie Bulgers mum, and twitter said no rules had been broken, so the disgusting posts were allowed to remain.
It was either delete twitter or stamp on my phone in rage.

Twitter is a cess-pit that allows the armchair warriors full rein to unleash their bile.😖

Facebook is similar, though that seems to favour scammers, I don't use that at all, I only use X for complaining to places like BG or Tesco as it's easier to have an account on there than Facebook. I don't need to use X much thankfully. Probably best to only use both very minimally, if at all

@TiredArse

As it is now, people are getting arrested and questioned for just stating an opinion. I do believe its gone too far the wrong way. Establishing real threat from keyboard warriors is a challenge, however we have entered a stage where victimhood is used as control. People will always be dicks, I've had my fair share and in this instance, I delete and block.

@TiredArse I will also add that censorship has only allowed this to fester. The rape of at least 1400 girls by Pakistani men in rotherham and the continued effort to not state this in the press or those who could have stopped it doing nothing much sooner, out of fear of being branded racist, has contributed to the current anger we are seeing now. I agree that undoubtedly some comments written are vile, and would be considered so by most people, but without asking why, it will only get worse.

I did get one blocked last week that called me a cunt.

That was a nice treat. But then another calling me a fucking cow was allowed to stand.
