To wonder why there are so many irritating presenters now on Radio 1?

Any Radio 1 listeners out there who are not enjoying recent line-up changes?

Like going home with Vic, Katie, and Jamie. IMO such a poor combo, very limited chemistry or proper banter between them. It feels like Vic and Katie don't really like Jamie. And he barely seems to be there anyway, missing loads of shows. Vic and Jordan really seemed to get on and were entertaining. I find Katie dull. Jamie just doesn't riff with the other two though I did find him entertaining when he partnered up with Matt Edmondson.

I find Dean and Vicky very irritating, especially Vicky. And Nat.

I can't stand Jack whatshisname who presents the new music show and chart, he comes across as pretentious.

Oh and yes, I know IABU for listening to R1 and not automatically expecting irritating chirpy wankers.

Its not an age thing. I’m in my 40s and I still listen to radio 1. I love new music. I’ve been thinking the same about the newer DJs recently. They all seem like nice people but they are just not entertaining at all. I love Greg, Matt and Molly, Ricky Melvin and Charlie and I liked Vic when she had Jordan to bounce off. Dean, Katie, Nat and whoever the other new ones are just don’t seem to have much of a sense of humour. I’m undecided on Jamie because he was quite funny when he was paired with Matt. I’m still missing Scott and Chris. I tried switching to radio 2 in the afternoon to listen to Scott but the music did my head in. I don’t want to listen to Emma Bunton or Top Loader. I’ve heard enough of them over the years!

I loved Radio 1 in the days of Moyles, Jo Whiley/Fearne Cotton, Colin and Edith, Scott Mills then Zane Lowe. Didn’t mind Grimmy, quite like Greg James not keen on any of the others.
