To ask if you see a difference?

I’ve started an under eye treatment and I’m about half way through my course. I thought it was seeing a difference, but as I look at myself every single day it’s hard to tell. I asked a colleague with those photos and she said “there’s absolutely no difference”

And just for reference I’m not and never have expected 100% clear under eyes, I’m just after an improvement as I’m very self conscious.

There's a marked difference 🙂

Coconutter24 · 03/07/2024 20:09

The first photo is a lot darker than the second, I can definitely see a difference

Flossyflop · 03/07/2024 20:09

I can see quite a significant difference.

MamaSleep · 03/07/2024 20:09

Yes big difference. You also have beautiful eyes.

MightWusk · 03/07/2024 20:10

It's discreetly less dark. Not a major difference, but a difference. What treatment are you getting?

BifurBofurBombur · 03/07/2024 20:11

Yes, the first photo is a lot darker. Is the goal to lighten dark shadows/pigment?

equisetum · 03/07/2024 20:12

Yes definitely

Wishimaywishimight · 03/07/2024 20:15

Not the point I know but I am so jealous of your eyebrows!

ISeriouslyDoubtIt · 03/07/2024 20:16

It's hard to tell because although the second picture looks a bit lighter, the tone of the whole second photo is lighter so it could look lighter because of that. In the second your eyebrow and eye are paler too so you're not comparing like with like.

minipie · 03/07/2024 20:18

Yes the second photo definitely looks lighter under the eye

I have to say though the colour of your eyes and eyebrows also looks lighter in the second photo, so it’s hard to tell how much it’s just different lighting/settings

Circumferences · 03/07/2024 20:18

What is it? Collagen cream or something?

Overthebow · 03/07/2024 20:20

I can’t really see much difference, maybe a bit but the whole colouring of the second photo is lighter so hard to tell.

foreverstardust · 03/07/2024 20:22

Yes, although I don’t have dark shadowing. I’ve got some pigment but it’s more to do with how thin my skin is in that area.

No it’s an injectable treatment with a doctor. I don’t really want to say that much as I don’t like selling or promoting treatments because it could work amazing for me and have no effective on someone else. Always think it’s best for people to do their own research ☺️

Didimum · 03/07/2024 20:24

The area under your eye looks lighter in the second photo, but so do your upper lids and brow area, since so I don’t think this photo comparison shows a difference

Edited

This is what I’m finding difficult, I know it’s difference of opinion but it’s crazy to me how some people can say yes there’s a difference and others are saying none at all.

OP posts:
MightWusk · 03/07/2024 20:26

Yeah everything about the second picture is lighter so it's not really a like for like comparsion.

Freetofeelgood · 03/07/2024 20:28

This

Apileofballyhoo · 03/07/2024 20:30

The dark area is smaller in the second photo so I dont think it's just lighting.

bows101 · 03/07/2024 20:30

Is it Lumi eyes?

DoublePeonies · 03/07/2024 20:33

The area under your eye in the second photo looks lighter, but so does your skin and eye.
I'm not sure the contrast between your skin and dark patch has changed significantly but it's really hard to tell.

Skintdancemum · 03/07/2024 20:33

Polynucleotide? Can see a difference! I had it but didn’t notice myself, but can defo see yours!

EinekleineKatze · 03/07/2024 20:34

The photos look to have different levels of light, so it's quite hard to compare tbh.

foreverstardust · 03/07/2024 20:35

bows101 · 03/07/2024 20:30

Is it Lumi eyes?

Definitely not.

They should have the same lighting as it was taken in the doctors office, and you can see the spotlight on both photos reflecting off my forehead.

These are taken a month apart, so you’re just not going to get an exact like for like comparison,
